March 2009---My Completed Reading List

So sorry that I've been MIA for the past few days-- I was away, and only just got back late last night. I was going to try and get this list posted before I left, but well, as you can see, that didn't work out like I had hoped. But here it is, nonetheless.

Not too bad of a month, I was a book shy of my original goal of 22, so I think I did very well. Below I've listed all the books I finished, in order, with my rating next to them (and if I wrote a review f or it, there will be a link directly to the review). Note, all titles link to B&N.

Enjoy, and I'm interesting in knowing what the rest of you read this month. I know that Ms. Moonlight read a lot of menage books for March Menage Madness, but what about everyone else? Was is mostly re-reads or books for challenges, or where they new releases you've been waiting for?

1- Trouble in High Heels by Leanne Banks (4 stars, Review HERE)

2- Seducing a Scottish Bride by Sue-Ellen Welfonder (3 stars, Review HERE)

3- The Smoke Thief by Shana Abe (5 stars)

4- The Seduction of an Unknown Lady by Samantha James (4.5 stars)

5- Passion Unleashed by Larissa Ione (5 stars, Review HERE)

6- The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (5 stars)

7- A Prisoner of Birth by Jeffrey Archer (4 stars)

8- The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas (4.5 stars)

9- Wild Card by Lora Leigh (4.5 stars)

10- Flying Home by Rachel Ann Nunes (4 stars)

11- City of Glass by Cassandra Clare (5 stars, Review HERE)

12- Kitty and the Dead Man's Hand by Carrie Vaughn (4 stars, Review HERE)

13- Stargazer by Claudia Gray (5 stars)

14- The Cat by Jean Johnson (5 stars, Mini 'Review' HERE)

15- The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass by Frederick Douglass (3 stars)

16- Law and Disorder: Moving Violation by Lora Leigh (4 stars, Mini 'Review' HERE)

17- Perfect by Judith McNaught (4.5 stars, Mini 'Review' HERE)

18- The Vampire Diaries Return: Nightfall by L.J Smith (5 stars)

19- Time Share: Amelia's Journey by Lora Leigh (E-Book Short, 3.5 stars) *Sorry, it's not available on B&N, so no link*

20- Bound by Shadow by Anna Windsor (4.5 stars)

21- The Bargain by Julia Templeton (4.5 stars) *Thank you, again Barb!*

A bit of a varity in that list, more than I usually have. We'll see if I can do the same this month... Who knows. It just depends on my current reading mood, what I'm craving, and what I want to put off reading.

EH,

Wow, you did have a good month! Congrads. Much better than mine-- notice that even though I had over 20 completed books, I only had a handful of reviews. I'm going to have to pick it up next month!

That's funny-- I see a few on your list that I'm planning on reading soon, and a few more that I've already got on my want to read list.

Enjoy your day-- hope it's good weather there. Not too bad here-- almost 60 today.

Wow, you two put me to shame. For March I read:

'Fragile' by Shiloh Walker
'Scandalous Love' by Brenda Joyce
'Maverick' by Lora Leigh
'The Vampire Queen's Servant' by Joey W. Hill
'Addicted' by Charlotte Featherstone
'Angels' Blood' by Nalini Singh

They were all great reads too!

:) VFG

P.S. From your list I've read 'Smoke Thief' and 'Wild Card'. I LOVED both.

VFG-

Well, it was one of my better months, especially compared to last year.

That's a great list-- all books that are either on my list or in my pile! ;) I've had 'Fragile' on my list for a while, but I haven't had the time to stop by and pick it up in the store. 'Scandalous Love' is another one on my list, as is Hill's novels.

I've got Maverick sitting on the top of my pile right now, and I'm itching to start it soon, even though it's one of my newer purchases, and there are plenty of older books waiting below it. I think I'll be breaking down soon though.

Addicted is another one that is on my list, after you and Barbara did your amazing reviews and contest a while ago. It sounds like a good one! And I've got to buy Angels Blood when I go to buy books 3 and 5 from her other series. What I've already read from her, I enjoyed a lot. :D

Smoke Thief and Wild Card were both top picks from my list. I need to read Dream Thief, along with the other books in the series, but I've been waiting for a copy to come in at my library. It's hard waiting though, I loved SF and I'm anxious to read the next book! And Wild Card, well, really, what is there to say? It's Lora Leigh, for goodness sake!

Well, enjoy your reading for this month, and it will be interesting to see if we have any more books in common next time. :) I'm sure we'll have one for sure-- REHV's book! *SQUEAL*. :D

Until Next Time,
