And the Winner Is.....

I know, you've been anxiously waiting all week to know who the lucky winner of Secret Society is, and here it is! First off, thank you to everyone who entered, and to those who helped to spread the word-- I really appreciate it, especially since this was only my second contest that I've held (and first one where I'll actually be supplying/sending out the prize). You guys are great! :D Also, thanks to Tom Dolby, the author for this lovely book, for signing it, and HarperCollins Publishing for sending the copy to me. Now I get to pass it on to another reader, who I hope will enjoy it like I did. Okay, enough with the boring stuff-- on to the winner! Drum roll, please! And the winner, chosen by Random.org, is.....

CECILE!

Way to go, girl!

I guess the 'pimpage' on your blog gave you some good karma! :D

Now, to claim your prize (ONE signed ARC of Secret Society) I need you to email me ASAP with your mailing addy-- remember the rules, you have up to one week from today to do so, or I'll have to pick another winner. (My email is listed on the sidebar, but in case you can't find it, here it is: The_Book_Queen[at]yahoo.com)

And for the rest of you, don't despair-- you can get your own copy of the book in stores September 29th!

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wow-- after entering the list, I realized I had over 50 entries (that's including the people that did things to get bonus entries!), which means about 25 or so people entered my contest! That's a lot more than I thought would enter! With numbers like that, I'll definitely try hard to host some more contests soon! Just remember to keep your eye on the blog for any upcoming dates.
Now, I know that I didn't post my 'Teaser Tuesday' yesterday-- I feel horrible, I've been so good about doing that post weekly, since it's not nearly as long as my 'Want to Read' list that I post weekly (Oh, s***, just remembered I've yet to start on that post yet either....oops). But yesterday I just had so much to do, classes all day and then when I got home my computer gave my problems for a while, and by 10 at night, I really didn't want to start a new post. But I promise, I will have my WoW posted today, just a bit late, and next week I'll be back with my "TT".
Okay, I'm off to work on my next post, which I hope to have online before too long. ;) And if I have the time in the next few days, I will post my reading list from August, but I can't promise anything. Lol.
Enjoy!
Until Next Time, The Book Queen
On August 20, 2009, my new fantasy novel, Gateway to DreamWorld was released. I would be honored to have you give a review of my book.
Synopsis: On their way home from baseball tryouts, Brad Colby and his two sons are involved in a terrible car accident that leaves six-year-old Pete in a coma. When Pete awakens, the family is crushed to learn that he is paralyzed.
Meanwhile, Pete’s eight-year-old brother, Jason, has been having powerful dreams that lead him to a mysterious realm known as DreamWorld. Jason discovers that all of his desires can come true in DreamWorld, but the time is fast approaching when he will have to choose between his two worlds.
And when more devastating news strikes at the heart of the Colby family, Jason and Pete set out on a desperate attempt to find the Gateway to DreamWorld and save their family. With time running out on their dangerous path, will Jason and Pete’s fear of the Unknown keep them from reaching the paradise of their dreams?
I invite you to order your copy now from Amazon.com or Barnes&Nobles.com at a discounted price.
Please help by spreading the word to your friends who enjoy reading a good book and be one of the firsts to pick up your copy of Gateway to DreamWorld.
Thanks for your time and I hope you enjoy the fantasy.
