Here's my candidate for the week:

Dusk with a Dangerous Duke by Alexandra Hawkins
Publisher: St. Martin's (February 26, 2013)
Series: The Lords of Vice, 6
Genre: Historical Romance
They were children when the Duke of Huntsley was introduced to Lady Grace Kearly. The young duke—nicknamed “Hunter”—took one look at his future bride and thought only of escaping his responsibilities to his family. Marriage was for grown-ups and Hunter still had years of skirt-chasing ahead of him. But now the time has come for Hunter to heed the call: if this Lord of Vice hopes to keep all of his inheritance, he’ll have to claim his long-neglected betrothed…
With her twenty-first birthday approaching, Lady Grace dreads the thought of marrying the duke she has met only once—especially since he’s grown into a notorious rake who will probably beget his heir and abandon her in the country while he pursues fresh game in London. So when Lady Grace coolly decides to call the wedding off, even Hunter is surprised by his refusal to let her go. Suddenly, the notion of claiming and taming this green-eyed beauty is one challenge he cannot resist…

Where to Buy*:

Why?

Remember, my first true love was historical romances, and they will always have a special place in my heart--and on my shelves. :)

This cover may be a bit more tame comapred to others I've lusted for, but that shouldn't stop you from admiring it! Look at the colors, so bright and vivid. The couple...as another reader mentioned, the way the hero is caressing her neck *shudders* It's a simple act, but it conveys so much to the person who knows what to look for. :D

I've read a few of the previous books in this series, and I liked them--I've been curious to read Hunter's book, so I'l lbe putting this one on my list!

What cover are you currently lusting for? Tell me, I want to know! Follow the directions above on how to post your own Lusting for Covers, and leave a comment telling me what you think of the cover for Dusk with a Dangerous Duke?

How do you like my new Lusting for Covers graphic? :) It's all thanks to JennJ from Sapphire Designs! She does such beautiful work, and it was her idea to create my own sexy book cover, 'written' by me, as the focus of the graphic. LOVE it!
Enjoy!

Until Next Time,

WD-- Thank you! :) I love it so much!

Sherri--I know, the gowns are to die for! I doubt I'd ever be able to really wear one (all that fabric and layers and corsets---oh my!) But that's my one dream, to wear a dress like that once. :D

Enjoy!
