Here's my candidate for the week:

Wild Child by Molly O'Keefe
Publisher: Bantam (October 29, 2013)
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Perfect for readers of Susan Elizabeth Phillips and Rachel Gibson, this sizzling romance tells the story of a sexy small-town mayor and a notorious “bad girl,” who discover that home really is where the heart is.

Monica Appleby is a woman with a reputation. Once she was America’s teenage “Wild Child,” with her own reality TV show. Now she’s a successful author coming home to Bishop, Arkansas, to pen the juicy follow-up to her tell-all autobiography. Problem is, the hottest man in town wants her gone. Mayor Jackson Davies is trying to convince a cookie giant to move its headquarters to his crumbling community, and Monica’s presence is just too . . . unwholesome for business. But the desire in his eyes sends a very different message: Stay, at least for a while.

Jackson needs this cookie deal to go through. His town is dying and this may be its last shot. Monica is a distraction proving too sweet, too inviting—and completely beyond his control. With every kiss he can taste her loneliness, her regrets, and her longing. Soon their uncontrollable attraction is causing all kinds of drama. But when two lost hearts take a surprise detour onto the bumpy road of unexpected love, it can only lead someplace wonderful.

Why?

Um, why not? First, the obvious--I want to be the heroine. Who doesn't dream of being picked up and held like that by their man? Second, even with her body covering it, I can see a great set of abs there! Yum. And last---stubble. Oh my. :D

Oh, and the story sounds great, too. I've not read any of Molly's books, but I have heard great things about them!

What cover are you currently lusting for? Tell me, I want to know! Follow the directions above on how to post your own Lusting for Covers, and leave a comment telling me what you think of the cover for Wild Child?

I freakin love the cover. Love the covers for her Crooked Creek Ranch series but this is the best. I will admit I had a hard time with the Crooked Creek Ranch series. I read the first 3 and for me they were only 2 stars ok read. The characters were all so mean and hateful. I really had a hard time connecting with them. I read all three from netgalley and kept reading in the series cause I was hoping the mean and hateful characters formula would go away but they did not. I love the blurbs as they all sounded so good. I am loving this cover so much and the blurb has got my attention. I might just have to get this in PB for my mom and read it before hand. The blurb sound so good it makes me want to try her writing out one more time. Great pick I am for sure lusting over the cover. Sexy!!!

LOL all of your reasoning so works for me. I love a bit of stubble on a hero. Yum! And this one still manages a little nip shot! Nice! I've had her on my authors to check out list for a while. Gotta get to em some day soon!

:D You have to promise to tell me what you think about it then! Hm, that's kind of disappointing that the other book of hers that you read were just okay. Maybe I'll hold off on trying those and go for this one first. Thanks for stopping by and participating! Are you enjoyin Pride Mates? :D
