Here's my candidate for the week:

The Legend of the Highland Dragon by Isabel Cooper
Publisher: Sourcebooks Casablanca (December 3, 2013)
Genre: Paranormal Romance (Historical setting)

The MacAlasdairs are not like other men.

Descendants of an ancient alliance, they live for centuries, shifting between human and dragon forms. Some wander the earth; some keep to their lands in Scotland; and Stephen MacAlasdair, the newest lord of the family, must go to London to settle his father’s business affairs. He brings an object of great power and greater darkness. He finds an enemy from his past, whose wrath is still living and deadly. And he meets an ally he’d never have expected.

1894 London doesn’t provide an easy life for women of the lower class, but Mina Seymour has managed to work herself up to a position as the secretary of a famous scholar. When a tall, dark Scottish stranger demands to see her employer, Mina is irritated; when MacAlasdair’s departure leaves the professor worried, she’s suspicious. Determined to figure out the situation, she investigates further–and finds a world and a man she could never have imagined.

Why?

Dragon shifters. Highlands. I'm a very happy reader right now. :) I've not read Cooper's work, but I do have her debut in my TBR pile.

I like the obvious fact that we get a sexy man chest, complete with kilt (though it's kind of hard to make out). Oh, and we cannot forget the manly sword. ;) Take THAT however you wish. LOL

Why?

Kame: Have you looked at that cover?!

TBQ: Um..Um...Um...

You expect me to say something coherent after seeing that cover? Pfft! My mind is in overdrive. Like, why is the heroine in the way? And can I just push her out of the picture, enjoy the view, then take her spot?

Also, this is one of those covers where no reason is really needed. We CoverWhores all understand why!

I know Kame loves Clare's books, and I cannot wait to catch up on them myself. Have you read any of her books?

What cover are you currently lusting for? Tell me, I want to know! Follow the directions above on how to post your own Lusting for Covers, and leave a comment telling me what you think of the cover for Legend of the Highland Dragon and First Strike?

Enjoy!

Good Morning.

Danielle - Great find. Sexy Dragon, highlander shifter. I do not think I have ever read one before. That cover is just yummy sweet.

Kame - Oh I want to be the woman model about now. Getting hot and bothered just looking at the cover. I look forward to reading this series. Different than the other covers in this series, not complaining. I read the 2nd or 3rd novel and enjoyed it. I want to start from the beginning but heard I did not have to.

Have a great weekend both of you.

I'm keeping it in mind for a possible future S-a-T-R-a-L pick :D
I've heard that, too, but I want to wait and read the series in order as well. I think that will be my prize at the end of the year if I make a good dent on my review books by then--sit back and enjoy that series just for the pleasure of it! :)
Enjoy!

Wicked - I am impatiently waiting for each new ITeam book as I am up to date. No need to read in order as the heroes do show up in other books (and let's face in in romance they don't kill off the hot heroes) but we know they would be around anyhow. My favorites are Naked Edge, Breaking Point and her Skin Deep novella. Great series

Danielle- Yum! That is one hot cover.

Kame- I love, love, love this cover. It's a bit near and dear to my heart since I got to be there when the picture was shot. A lot of giggling but it turned out all sorts of HOT!
