Here's my candidate for the week:

Midnight's Promise by Donna Grant
Publisher: St. Martin's Paperbacks (October 29, 2013)
Series: Dark Warrior, 8
Genre: Paranormal Romance

HEART OF STONE

For centuries, Malcolm has struggled against the forces of darkness—and bears the scars to prove it. Hardened by a lifetime of fighting, he is more warrior than man, incapable of feeling love or compassion. But one stormy night, he pulls a beautiful woman from a car wreck—and experiences a rush of fiery emotion that could melt even the hardest of hearts.

TOUCH OF MAGIC

Since childhood, Evangeline Walker has felt the magic growing inside her. Descended from Druids, she is the perfect vessel for ancient magic—and evil. Evie knows she should trust no one, not even Malcolm, whose strong touch and tender kiss she craves. But after she makes a devil’s bargain to save her half-brother, this fearsome warrior may be the only man who can protect her—with his heart, his body, and his soul…

Kame's Pick:

The Raider by Monica McCarty
Publisher: Ballantine Books (February 25, 2014)
Series: Highland Guard, 8
Genre: Historical Romance

After consolidating his gains against the enemy English, King Robert the Bruce of Scotland sends his best soldiers to fortify the lawless borders. These legendary warriors of the Highland Guard let nothing come before king and country—except the calling of their heart.

Of all Bruce’s elite warriors, Robert “Raider” Boyd is the most formidable. A true patriot whose bare hands are a deadly weapon, Robbie is the fierce enforcer of the Guard, and his hatred of the English has been honed to a razor-sharp edge. But vengeance proves bittersweet when his enemy’s beautiful sister falls into his hands and he finds himself fighting temptation—a battle he badly wants to lose.

Lady Rosalin Clifford barely recognizes the rebel prisoner she saved from execution six years ago. Though her girlish ideals for fairness have matured into a passion for justice, Rosalin believes she betrayed her brother when she helped this dangerous man escape. Now her traitorous act has come back to haunt her. But she can’t deny the longing this tormented warrior ignites in her, or deny the passion that turns sworn enemies into lovers. Is the gentle love of a true English Rose enough to free Scotland’s most brutal warrior from a path of vengeance—before it’s too late?

Why?

Kame: I love the font and the chest – and again there is a kilt and we all know what men wear with kilts….

TBQ: Highlander + kilt. No other reason is needed! :D I love McCarty's books, though I am behind on the series. I read The Saint last year and absolutely loved it (review)!

What cover are you currently lusting for? Tell me, I want to know! Follow the directions above on how to post your own Lusting for Covers, and leave a comment telling me what you think of the cover for Midnight's Promise and The Raider?

Enjoy!

Good evening! I am late. Both very nice picks.
TBQ - Oh I just love the tattoo tease and how he is holding the heroine.
Kame- Can never go wrong with this series for L4C pick all worthy. I am so excited I just got this from net galley but I am 1 behind in this series. Plus still have to read the earlier novels. Read one from her and loved it.

Better late than never, right? :)
Yes, exactly why I loved it, too. I've only read two or three of Grants' books (not in this series) and that was back when I first started blogging. I really need to try this, and one of her other big series; the covers alone are all to die for!
Enjoy,
TBQ
