Kame's Review:

This was a great anthology, a good group of Christmas themed novellas all with a nice heartwarming story.

“Dream a Little Dream” by Jill Shalvis
A Christmas installment in Jill Shalvis’ Lucky Harbor series. Ian and Melissa were friends with benefits a few months ago. Ian had hoped the relationship with move to serious but Melissa had other ideas. A major event brings them together again. Even in this short format I was pull into the small town. My heart raced with the anxious moments and sang with the happy ones. I haven’t read many Lucky Harbor books but this novella made me intent on reading more in this series.

“Every Year” by Kristen Ashley
I will admit this is the reason I got this anthology. I love Kristen Ashley’s Chaos series and Shy and Tabby are some of my favorite characters. This novella is different from the others in that this couple has already found love, it is a continuation of their story; it is a look at Shy and Tabby’s first Christmas together. It is a scene that might bring a tear to the eyes of fans of the series. This first Christmas is so important as for Shy it is the first one in a long time that was filled with love.

“Silent Night” by Hope Ramsay
This is an installment in the Last Chance series. Daniel has come to his family home to finish boxing up things so he could put it up for sale. He thought he would be alone, but was surprised to find Maryanne and her baby in the barn. I have not read a book in this series before and the little glimpse has peaked my interest.  I want to read more and see more of Daniel and Maryanne’s HEA.

“Have Yourself A Messy Little Christmas” by Molly Cannon
Lincoln is a workaholic and his mother wants to make sure the house is ready for Christmas, so she hires Dinah to come organize the house. At first Lincoln is irked with the invasion, but the more time Dinah spends time in the house the more his heart warms, to the point he misses her when she isn’t there. This was a unique plot and I enjoyed every word.

“A Family for Christmas” by Marilyn Pappano
A novella set in the Tallgrass series by Marily Pappano introduces us to Jared and Ilena. Jared has come to Tallgrass to be the new pediatrician.  He was motivated more by getting away from his over achieving family than the draw of a small town. Ilena considers Tallgrass a city compared to where she came from in Texas. She has built a family of friends, deciding to stay on in the town after her husband was killed during his deployment. It has become home. They do share a spark, but Jared’s family is unwavering in their attempt to lure him back to NYC. This novella had the sweetest ending and I will definitely be checking out this series.

This is a fantastic anthology to purchase for a few moments of Christmas spirit during the bustle of the holiday season. A Christmas to Remember is a great way to spend a short time relaxing near your Christmas tree or a roaring fire. All the novellas can be read in about one hour. This is one anthology I will keep to read again!

Meet Kame:

Kame is part of a family of readers; one day she picked up the Nook she purchased for her husband and discovered her love of e-books. A few months later he purchased one for her so he could have his back! Kame’s Nook is never far, and she is hard pressed to pick a favorite book, genre or author. As long as there are characters that make her want to sit down and have a chat and a plot keeps the pages turning, she’ll read it.
