Top 5 Man Candy Inspiration!

As an author, I find inspiration for my stories and characters from many different places. I could be walking around at the store, sitting in the coffee shop…things like that.

But recently…Pinterest has grabbed my attention. Yeah, it’s been around a while, but I’m pretty slow to the movements, let me tell ya. It took me years to get my first e-reader…now I’m a Kindle junkie.

Pinterest…oh, I find tons of inspiration there. I have a “dreamy heroes” board (http://www.pinterest.com/lynnrushwrites/) for general pictures, but I am starting to make boards for my newer books. I never used to do that for my books, but now I’m having so much fun, I can’t stop!!

So here are my top five Man Candy inspirations for you—no particular order

Who wouldn’t want to start reading after looking at this, right?

I know Chris Hemsworth pretty much inspires everyone, but for me, he really represented my idea of Justin, the hero in my newest release Marked by Hades. He’d have to dye his hair black…but I can picture that. J

This guy inspired one of my newest characters in a book not yet published (but super agent is hard at work on that!)

I think Paul Walker (may he rest in peace) was one of the biggest inspirations. Those blue eyes and that killer smile. How could you not just sigh at this picture?

I promise I didn’t pick Vin Diesel just because of the Fast and Furious with Paul Walker…I’ve had my eye on Vin ever since Pitch Black. LOVE him. I often joke with my hubby that I want Vin to play all my heroes. And have you visited his Fan Page? Holy cow, he’s such a positive person over there—so gracious and encouraging. Plus, there are lots of pictures on his timeline…so that makes me smile, too!

So, now you know my Man Candy Inspirations . . . what are yours?

A new adult novel from Entangled's Embrace imprint...

One choice away from eternity…

For 911 years, Gatekeeper companion Justin Bradford has denied the possibility of being mated to only one woman. He enjoys them all too much to settle down. So when he feels his mate’s Ahavah mark surface, his first instinct is to ignore it. But when he sees the leather-clad beauty in need of his help that’s easier said than done…

Yvonne wakes up naked on a cold park bench in a small town with no memory of who—or what—she is. All she knows is the gentle man who woke her was turned to dust when she touched him. And now the strange mark that appeared on her shoulder throbs in the presence of the raven-haired man now offering to help her…

As Justin and Yvonne navigate the mystery of her past, their bond grows, but the secrets they discover and the sacrifices that must be made could be enough to rip them apart for eternity.

I'm definitely adding your series to my list, sounds like my kind of PNR!

Don't forget Reese's question:

I really did have something to say about the book, but the Man Candy totally distracted me. :-)
