I would pick Jill Shalvis Animal Magnetism series. I absolutely love that series and I have a serious crush on Brady Miller. I also LOVE Marquita Valentine's Holland Springs books. For military reads Jessica Scotts Coming Home Series. Historical I love Ava Stone the Scandalous Series and I'm super excited she's writing more for that series. I know I could go on and on favorite series.

It's hard NOT to go on and on, isn't it? :) All great ones, I haven't read Ava's books yet though.

There are so many good ones to choose from but I absolutely love Jill Shalvis' Lucky Harbor series, Lisa Kleypas' Hathaways series, Carly Phillips' Serendipity series. I could list more, but the I'd be here all night!! LOL :-)

Oh, I do love my Jill Shalvis (either Lucky Harbor or Animal Magnetism) is at the top of my list. Also can't get enough of Susan Mallery's Fool's Gold and Julie James' FBI/US Attorney series. These ones are on my "Must-Read" favorites list because all 3 authors write such fabulous characters and great stories that I can't get enough of!

The_Book_Queen said...

And there's nothing wrong with that! :) I've not yet had a chance to read Phillips' but I hear great things about her books!

The_Book_Queen said...

Agreed! Looks like Shalvis is a very popular author for everyone -- she does write great contemporaries, very fun!

the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews ;), Jennifer Crusie and Jill Shalvis. But you guys have an awesome list!!!

Picking one book, series or author is totally impossible! I could make a nice long list though. :-)

Happy Blogoversary!

Lisa Kleypas is one of my favorite romance authors. Julie James, Meredith Duran and Kristan Higgins are fabulous as well. The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie was really good. As was Yours Until Dawn and The Other's Guy Bride.

The_Book_Queen said...

:) Andrews and Crusie are both on my list of 'need to read'! :) Needless to say, it's a looong list . . . lol

Enjoy!

*nods* Yeah, there's *no* way I could do it. If my choice was pick one book/series/author or die, I suppose I'd better get my affairs in order . . . LOL

Great picks, I couldn't agree more! :)

A favorite author of mine is Jude Deveraux.

I've only read Jessica Scott and Pamela Clare from those lists but I recognize all the series/books as really great. My favorite series are numerous, but I'll try to pick a smattering: Diana Gabaldon's OUtlander, Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson, Anne Perry's William Monk, Kendal McKenna's Tameness of the Wolf, Joanna Wylde's Reapers MC. I need to stop b/c seriously, there's so many more.

The_Book_Queen said...

Oh yes, I read and loved many of her books in my early romance reading years! :)

The_Book_Queen said...

LOL. Nothin' wrong with that! :) Briggs is another author I really, really need to read. *sigh* Why can't there be more hours in a day? And less stress/work in my life? lol

Glenda said...

Oh Amen, SIster! I would try to beg some time to finish my tbr before going though. ;-)

Sophia Rose said...

I hear you. I would love a Hermione Time Turner.

You should definitely try Carly's books, they're fast-paced, funny and sexy. She's definitely one of my faves!

Oo a few of my favorites in there :) I loved Naked Edge!

The_Book_Queen said...

*sigh* I have one, but sadly it doesn't work. I think I must have a dud. ;) lol

Great book -- the only book of Clare's I've had a chance to read yet, and I adored it!
