Pat's Review:

This is another wonderful visit to Ms. Miles Dare Valley series, and it even has a recipe!

Elizabeth Saunders, former Poker Babe to Rhett Butler Blaylock known as Vixen, is trying to live normally after the media storm got wind of her secret life.  There was a reason for her secret life, and she hopes the notoriety doesn't bring back her biggest fear, her nightmare, her ex-lover.  Elizabeth and Jane her best friend graduated from Harvard with business degrees, but on the run from Elizabeth's attacker, stopped in Vegas, played some mean poker and caught Rhett's eye.  The start of their new life.

Now she is back to Elizabeth, Rhett's publicity manager and enjoying not having to put on piles of make-up and sky high heels and parade around in risqué clothing.

Terrence Waters, celebrity chef, infamous bad boy with very colorful language is spending some time in Dare Valley working as executive chef in Rhett's very successful hotel restaurant.  He is trying to keep a low profile so his TV show will be renewed.  One of his personal trials is trying to stop swearing, so he has a cuss jar, filling it with one hundred dollar bills for every colorful word he uses. It will be donated to his favorite charity. Some days it gets very full.  Vixen/Elizabeth represents the two thing he can't tolerate. Lying and running away. A brief summer romance two years ago left him alone in his bed one morning with a note. Then when Vixen's identity was announced, he realized she had been lying to him.  Time for a face to face.  The only way he can get her to date him, is to agree to taking her Latin dance class. He shows up with a few Dare Valley, Dare River friends and rocks the class, shirtless!

This novel was like a visit with old friends. Both Chef T and Elizabeth fall into love but there are too many secrets and lies between them, and the nightmare she ran away from is back. I laughed, and cried reading this book,  it was an emotional read and I enjoyed every page.  It looks like we'll have to wait till Spring 2015 for Natalie and Blake's story.  Something to look forward to after the winter.

5 STARS!

I didn't even know about this series so thanks for the intro, Pat. This particular book sounds like these two cause some fireworks. LOL. Love the cuss jar for charity.
