Blogoversary Giveaway [INTERNATIONAL]

It's my 4 year blogoversary here at TBQ's Book Palace, and to celebrate I'm holding a month long celebration, full of various posts, spotlights, and giveaways!

Now for my US residents, there are four giveaways during the month of June (one each week tied into the four genres I love).

But for my international readers, I am only doing one giveaway, though it will run the entire time (June 4th-July 1st).

But just because you aren't able to enter the Genre Giveaways doesn't mean you can't still participate in the fun! In fact, I'd encourage you to stop by all the other posts and chat with us. If I had a bigger budget to send those prizes, I would make them international as well. :)

One lucky reader (international) will win a $10 book of their choice from the Book Depository**!

How to Enter:

Mandatory: You must leave a comment on this post--Tell me, what is your favorite genre? Do you read outside of it much? Is there any genre that you have not/will not try? Why?

Mandatory: You must fill out the Rafflecopter's first option (all other options are for extra entries and therefore are not required).

^A note on email addresses: Your email address must be visible to be entered into this contest. Why? This makes it easy for me to contact the winner and therefore get the prize out! Visible means: a) Email is left in your comment (ninja style is perfectly fine); b) Email is visible on your Blogger profile (or other such website--Twitter, Facebook, Blog, etc); or c) Email is used to log-in and fill out the Rafflecopter.

**In order to enter this, Book Depository MUST deliver free to your country. Please check their list! Prize cannot exclude $10, with tax! Prize will be shipped by BD, not me, so arrival time may vary. Prize will not be ordered until after the end of my blogoversary giveaway.

Giveaway open June 4th through July 1st! I will pick and announce the winner Monday morning (July 2nd). Good Luck!

Enjoy!

  1. My favorite genre is definitely paranormal romance, I love all those shifters, vamps, angels, and demons. Very sexy. I'm willing to try pretty much any genre as long as it has a little romance in it. I read lots of Sci-fi/fantasy series. The one thing I have problems with is reading a book in first person point of view. It bothers me a lot for some reason and usually I can't even get through the beginning of the book.

    1. I agree, first person just doesn't work too well in romance novels--or almost any kind of novel for that matter. I've read one or two that weren't bad, but the 1st person POV did still annoy me at times. :)

      Enjoy!

  2. My only genre is historical romance novels. (Yes, I have ventured slightly outside of the genre by reading romances with elements of paranormal in them.)

    Happy 4th Blogoversary!

    1. You can't go wrong with historical! I'd be completely content reading nothing but historicals for the rest of my life. Assuming, of course, that they were good historicals!

      Enjoy!

  3. My favorite genre is fantasy, hands down, but I do read outside of it. If a book looks/sounds good, I'll read it!

  5. Happy Blogaversary! Cheers!

Fantasy! :) And yes I always read outside of it as I love so many genres.

I am not a big thriller, mystery fan so I stay clear of those. They just do not interest me, if there isn't anything special in them. Like a historical mystery

    1. Thanks! :)

I'm with you--thrillers and mysteries just don't do it for me. Now, I can stand a bit of mystery if it's in another genre (some romance novels have some small mystery side-plot). But straight mysteries? Just not my thing.

      Enjoy!

    1. Yep, paranormal is constantly trying to give historical a nudge out of first for me, too. Some days, a paranormal is the last thing I want to read, other days it's just the opoosite *shrugs* It just depends.

Horror, it's just not my thing either. *shudders* Movie or book form.

      Enjoy!

  22. I guess, my most favorite genre would be fantasy. But I often read mystery and suspense novels. I also read romance but with a flair like PNR.
My most hated genre would be erotic romance. I know, I'm at the right age to read them(so there's no violation, whatsoever) but I don't think I would like to read such stuff.

Anyway, thank you for the giveaway! :)

  23. I never thought I'd read romances (though some erotica was fine), but m/m has quickly become my favorite. I prefer contemporary to historical, and even though I don't mind the occasional paranormal or fantasy book, I don't usually seek it out...

  25. I love all genres except horror though I find myself reading mostl;y Science Fiction and erotica (weird combo huh?).

The one genre I tend to avoid is the Stephen King Pet Cemetery kind of horror - my imagination is to vivid and it gives me nightmares for weeks if I stray that way.

  26. I used to say my favorite was paranormal romance but lately as long as it has romance in it I'm in depending on my mood. Anything from YA I can share with my daughter to erotica.

The only genre I won't read is horror. I don't like to watch it or read it!
