The Cowboy's Mail Order Bride by Carolyn Brown

Series: Cowboys and Brides, 3
Genre: Contemporary Romance
With a bundle of letters in a boot box, Emily Cooper doesn't know what to expect when she arrives on Clarice Barton's Ravenna, Texas, ranch. Clarice is stunned to meet the great granddaughter of a man she hadn't heard from in decades and insists that Emily stay on the ranch to tell her all about him.
Greg Adams isn't thrilled with the idea of a strange, if beautiful, woman in his grandmother's company. But when this stubborn cowboy sets out to uncover her lies, he finds the truth staring him in the face: it's not an explanation he wants, it's just her.

Kame's Review:
Emily made two promises to her grandfather before he died and she plans on honoring them. First she must deliver a letter, then she must take a month long vacation and think what she will do with her life. She planned to go to the beach - but a picture of a handsome cowboy with a post-it note attached has her thinking a month at a ranch might be the place for her.
Emily is a great character. I loved her spunk. I also came to love how thoughtful she was. She had a tender side sometimes visible in a kiss to Greg, but often times a cuddle of a horse or dog brought a smile to my face. Greg is a character I loved the minute he got on the page. He loves the ranch and loves his grandmother. He is a sexy smart cowboy; my favorite kind.
The plot is simple with no major conflicts. I think their journey to love was believable and I enjoyed all their tender moments. The side stories with the secondary characters sometimes made me laugh. Both joining together for a great read I really did not want to end.
I will read every cowboy book Carolyn Brown writes - this is how much I enjoy this author.
5 STARS!
