[Kame's Snapshot]: "Booty Call"

If you recall, recently we asked your opinion on a new type of quickie post. We received some great feedback about what you would like to see, but please continue to tell us what works and what doesn't so we can improve even more in the future!

Today Kame is sharing her thoughts, much like a mini-review, of a recent book she read.

In future Snapshots, we could be sharing book quotes, discuss the book, rant about it, or recommend it! :)

Booty Call by Abbie St. Claire
Publisher: Southern Ink Press (April 24, 2014)
Genre: Contemporary Romance

A novella containing adult content. Not appropriate for under 18 years of age.

A confirmed playboy hoping for a good time… A confirmed workaholic just wanting to tease… Passion ignites on a night of booty call.

Max Renfroe works hard and plays harder, determined to remain a playboy after his marriage ends. Using women for his own pleasure, he promises nothing in return. Raelynn Bardwell is a rising star within her company and only has time to for a little on the side, no commitment in mind. When Raelynn stops by Greer’s to sell Max a new brand of Tequila, she turns the tables on him and takes his breath away.

Max wants what he can’t have. A stubborn redhead, Raelynn refuses to give up control of anything, including her heart. One night of passion sparks a flurry of events, but who wins and who loses the PayDay is still undecided until you read Booty Call.

Kame's Thoughts:

Max is in pain. His father died three years ago and shortly after his wife left him. He is trying to keep the bar that is his family legacy going. His was to cope with the pain is meaningless hookups with no attachments; that is until his sister makes him finally take a meeting with Raelynn, a sexy liquor representative.

If you want a steamy book - just pick up a Abbie St. Claire - HOT! This is a great quick read; I classified it as novella as I was able to read it in a few hours before bed. I have come to realize Abbie St. Claire is the perfect author for me when I don't want to invest in a long story but I want something good to read. If she writes anything much longer I might combust while reading it LOL! This book is more than HOT scenes though, there was a good story line and some real personal issues the characters needed to address. I sort of wish it was longer because I really enjoyed Max and Raelynn. They had moments of sweet, definite HOT ones and a few just giggle worthy.

4 STARS!
