Sam has had a crush on Sheri for years, but she is a good friend's sister. Then the friend asks Sam to pose as a nanny to help protect Sheri - but keep his hands off her. Simple right?
Sam was my favorite character. I enjoyed his interaction with the twins and his attempt to keep the house running made me laugh at times. Sheri sort of wore on me as she was obsessed with what a "normal mother" was. As a mother of twins I will say the life with seven month old twins was spot on, and brought many happy memories to me.
Plot was good and simple to follow. I hate to say this - there was almost too many sexy scenes for me; I wanted more plot. Sheri's BFF and her brother seem to have some possibilities for a future book. Between that and the great Hawaiian setting I will definitely check out book 2.

Thanks for the review, Kame! :) Too much sexy times? Say it ain't so! But if there wasn't enough plot, I can understand why you'd say that. Here's hoping that the next book has a bit more to it, but even so Marine for Hire sounds like a good read!
