Here's my candidate for the week:

Slope of Love by Melissa Foster
Publisher: World Literary Press (April 21, 2014)
Series: Love in Bloom, 13
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Olympic gold medalist skiers Jayla Stone and Rush Remington have been best friends for years. They've seen each other at their best and worst and have kept each other's secrets without fail. Only there's one secret Rush has kept close to his chest. After months of introspection, Rush realizes he's been filling his bed but not tending to his heart. He's changed his womanizing ways, and the only woman who can fill his heart has been right by his side all this time.

Years of intimate conversations and the sharing of hopes and dreams collide when Rush reveals his secret, and one toe-curling kiss changes everything between Rush and Jayla. They're no match for the passion that kiss ignites, or the pull of true love. But being Rush's best friend means knowing all about his revolving bedroom door--and Jayla has a secret of her own that could jeopardize her career and her relationship with Rush. Even their love may not be enough to overcome Rush's past or secure Jayla's future.

Why?

Really, do I need to say? Tatts! And a sexy pose. Though I must point out the obvious -- that would be FREAKING cold sitting out in the snow naked. But, alright, if it's working for those two . . .

Kame's Pick

The Vet and the Vixen by Katy Regnery
Publisher: Katharine Gilliam Regnery (June 15, 2014)
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Burned by an unreliable source, Savannah Carmichael, returns to her hometown of Danvers, Virginia with her once-promising journalism career in ruins. Given the opportunity to get her skin back in the game by writing a patriotic human interest piece, Savannah turns her attention to the town hermit, Asher Lee, a wounded veteran who returned to Danvers eight years ago, and hasn’t been seen since.

After an IED explosion in Afghanistan took Asher’s hand and disfigured half of his face, he's lived a quiet life on the outskirts of Danvers where the locals respect his privacy…that is, until Savannah Carmichael comes calling in a borrowed sundress and a plate of homemade brownies. When Asher agrees to be interviewed by Savannah, he starts feeling things for the beautiful reporter that he hasn’t felt in years.

Misfits in small-town Danvers, Savannah and Asher create a bond right away, touching each other’s hearts in ways neither thought possible. When a terrible mistake threatens to drive them apart, they’ll have to decide if the love they found in one another’s arms is strong enough to fight for their hard-won happily ever after.

Kame: What a great redesign! You can read my review HERE!

TBQ: Yes it is! I loved the original cover, too, but I'm always happy to see a sexy set of abs. And dog tags. Yum! I still need to read this one myself!

Pat's Pick

Wild Nights by Tina Wainscott
Publisher: Loveswept (November 4, 2014)
Series: Justiss Alliance, 3
Genre: Contemporary Romance

The courageous men of USA Today bestselling author Tina Wainscott’s Justiss Alliance series never give up and never make a promise they can’t live up to—especially when love is on the line.

The only commitment Saxby Cole has ever made is to the SEALs. He follows a long line of Southern charmers who swear monogamy isn’t in their blood. He’s never met a woman who made him want to swear his allegiance—until, while undercover for a Justiss Alliance assignment, he finds a woman who makes him think twice.

When Jennessy Shaw’s boyfriend dumps her right before their vacation to a hedonistic Caribbean resort, she goes without him to explore her wild side. Throwing caution to the wind, she propositions Saxby—only to suffer his gentle rejection.

When she wakes in Saxby’s room with no memory of the night before, Jennessy discovers his real purpose: to sniff out an operation where women like her are drugged and prostituted to resort guests. She goes from victim to his investigative partner . . . but getting too close to the sexier-than-sin Saxby may be her wildest move yet.

I know, right? :) I've heard some great things about her series, but haven't yet tried any. I might have a few on my Kindle from when they were Freebies, but I'm not sure.

Incredibly delicious choices, ladies! The most recent hot cover of a book I read was Bound to Danger by Katie Reus.
