Publisher: Forever (October 27, 2015)
Series: Chaos, 4
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Millie Cross knows what it's like to burn for someone. She was young and wild and he was fierce and even wilder-a Chaos biker who made her heart pound. They fell in love at first sight and life was good, until she learned she couldn't be the woman he needed and made it so he had no choice but to walk away. Twenty years later, Millie's chance run-in with her old flame sparks a desire she just can't ignore. And this time, she won't let him ride off . . .

Bad boy Logan "High" Judd has seen his share of troubles with the law. Yet it was a beautiful woman who broke him. After ending a loveless marriage, High is shocked when his true love walks back into his life. Millie is still gorgeous, but she's just a ghost of her former self. High's intrigued at the change, but her betrayal cut him deep-and he doesn't want to get burned again. As High sinks into meting out vengeance for Millie's betrayal, he'll break all over again when he realizes just how Millie walked through fire for her man . . .

Kame's Review:

Who would think your lack of desire to cook, and your wait in line at a fast food restaurant would put you back on the right path.

Millie is a fantastic event planner and decorator. She loves her sister and niece and nephew with all her heart.  She has BFFs that mean the world to her. What she doesn't have is someone warming her bed. She did once, she was High's old lady once.

A wonderful author makes you feel the emotion of their characters.  I felt Millie's loneliness to my bones. There is a point where Millie choses to take back her life and I wanted to stand up and cheer. She is smart. She is sassy. She is a Chaos old lady from the mold of Tyra and Lanie. I loved her. I had to warm up to High. High did not welcome Millie back into his life right away, he had a lot of hurt from their past that he did not move from and he took that hurt and used it in ways he knew would make Millie suffer the pain he did when she ended their relationship. All that hate was used to get you to get whiplash when High finally opened to Millie.

As with all good books that have characters with a history there were flashbacks that told the story before the story. And just like with the first book in Chaos (Tabby and Shy) that history is what makes you just melt for the love story. The fact that High and Millie get a second chance, that they can move away from their hurtful past just makes you go "Awww".

We get plenty of looks at our favorite Chaos characters. Even better we get a look into the beginnings of Chaos and what went down to make it the MC it is today.

I will be honest - I wasn't sure I was interested in a book about High. He was never a character that interested me in other books. I got sucked in. I have read this book two times. The first time I skipped all flashbacks to just get to the present day parts. The second time I read the entire book as intended. A great read - fans of Chaos will not be disappointed.  Even better while there is no clear indication who the next couple will be, there is definite plots left open for more Chaos to come - and I can't wait!

4 STARS!
