Whatcha Reading? (44)

A new Saturday post where you can share with us what you are currently (or just finished) reading and we will share our brief thoughts on books that we read during the previous week but will not be reviewing.

April 24th - 30th:

-- Brokedown Cowboy by Maisey Yates --

So good! Warning: be prepare to feel all the emotions. Oh, Connor.

I also loved the laughs along the way, as well as Yates writing style. I'll definitely be back for more. In fact, I just picked up the first book in the series, Part Time Cowboy, which is currently $2.99.

Also, I have so many things highlighted on my Kindle. SO MANY. Funny ones, sexy ones, etc., etc. But this quote (below) is one that I can really, really relate to.... 4 STARS

Favorite quote:

"Are you okay?"

He looked at her. "As okay as I ever am."

"That's what worries me. You're never all that okay, are you?"

-- Winning Her Over by Alexa Rowan --

A sweet but enjoyable read by a new author. I'll have a full review up May 4th! 3 1/2 STARS

-- Come What May by A.M. Arthur --

I finished this late last night, so you'll have to forgive my lack of mini-review today! But I adored Jonas and Tate's story, loved seeing a glimpse of beloved characters from Arthur's previous series, and I'm very much looking forward to the rest of this series. :) I'll have a full review up later this month! 4 STARS

Slow week for me, reading wise. Final papers, as well as 4 days (and counting) of laptop/internet problems. -.- It's been a shitty week, to say the least.

So what are YOU currently reading?

Enjoy!
