I *loved* The Hook Up, and Gray and Ivy's story was no different, also gaining a spot on my favorite's list. Callihan's voice is fantastic in this series, drawing me in and creating characters that I care about. There's laughter and jokes, so much chemistry and steam, and a heaping dose of feels from all the emotions, too. It's perfect. Highly recommend this series, can't wait for Dex's story next. 5  STARS

-- Animal Magnetism by Jill Shalvis -- [Audiobook]



An easy read, nothing too complicated, which was just fine for me. My favorite book in this series is still Rumor Has It, which I absolutely loved. This one, while good, was no where near as amazing for me. The narrator was fine, and I have to give her points for making the various animal noises included in the book. 3 1/2 STARS

It was an okay read, nothing special and I found myself skimming through parts of it to reach the end. If you're looking for a quick "we've known each other for years but you work for my father and therefore you never really noticed me" type of romance, this one may hit the spot for you. 2 1/2 STARS

-- Don't Stop Believing by Gwen Hayes --


Not a bad story, but far too quick for me. I was excited about the premise (lumberjack and a librarian, stuck in a cabin during a snow storm? YES PLEASE!) but felt it would have worked better as a novel, not a 60 page novella. What was here was fine. However, I didn't have enough time to really connect with these two men or see their romance unfold. I just wanted more!  2 1/2 STARS
