The Billionaire Bachelor by Jessica Lemmon
Publisher: Forever (June 28, 2016)
Series: Billionaire Bad Boys, 1
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Indecent Proposal

Manwhore. That's what the board of directors-and the tabloids-thinks of billionaire bachelor Reese Crane. Ordinarily he couldn't care less, but his playboy past is preventing the board from naming him CEO of Crane Hotels. Nothing-and no one-will keep him from his life's legacy. They want a settled man to lead the company? Then that's exactly what he'll give them.

Merina Van Heusen will do anything to get her parents' funky boutique hotel back-even marry cold-as-ice-but-sexy-as-hell Reese Crane. It's a simple business contract-six months of marriage, absolute secrecy, and the Van Heusen is all hers again. But when sparks fly between them, their passion quickly moves from the boardroom to the bedroom. And soon Merina is living her worst nightmare: falling in love with her husband . . .

Pat's Review:

This is not your ordinary enemies to lovers story. No, it's enemies to a marriage of convenience story!

Merina Van Heusen grew up in the hotel her parents owned, learned all the ins and outs at a very young age, and based her college degree on her love for the hotel industry, especially the Van Heusen Hotel. The hotel has a historic legacy, and is a landmark in Chicago. She is now the manager, and doing a job she loves. Merina suddenly finds out her parents have sold the hotel to their biggest rivals, Crane Holdings, because of their financial difficulties. She is furious and devastated and proceeds to Reese Crane's office to tell him so. How could she be so furious with this man, and picture him naked, all hard muscle and strength.

Reese is hoping to be the next CEO when his father retires in six months. The board does not trust him...his reputation of a billionaire man-whore well known. He hopes by acquiring the Van Heusen to shore up his financial reputation, but they are not convinced. So he comes up with a crazy idea that will help Merina keep the hotel and ease his way into the job of CEO.  The crazy idea is not accepted by Merina, so he offers a proposal she can't ignore, and two weeks to convince herself it's worth it.

This first in a new series is a great romance, will make you laugh, and has some great sizzle to round it off. A very enjoyable contemporary romance!  Ms. Lemmon never disappoints.

4 STARS!
