Pat's 2017 Favorites

Now that 2018 is well underway, it's time for us to share our 2017 favorites. I've broken this up into three posts, one for each of our lists. You can find mine and Jen's lists HERE and HERE.

Next, Pat is sharing her favorites romances from 2017:

King of Clubs by Sandra Owens
Pat's Review

Why?

This story is romantic, lots of suspense, and a great addition to the Aces and Eights series. It's fast moving, sexy and keeps your attention from beginning to end.

Under Fire by Scarlett Cole
Pat's Review

Why?

Suspense, action, and danger will keep you reading, not to mention a hot, sexy romance. I couldn't put it down and wish I could rate it with more stars!

Close to Heaven by Pamela Clare
Pat's Review

Why?

The romance is slow and sensual, and I cheered at their first kiss. The characters are old friends, and laughter and a tear or two is all part of the story. So loved spending this holiday in Scarlet Springs!

The Outpost by Devney Perry
Pat's Review

Why?

Suspense, danger, and fear are the backdrop of this sexy romance set in both Seattle and the mountains of Montana. [...] It’s so great to catch up with all the characters in Prescott, and its beautiful surroundings. Beau and Sabrina are meant to be together, but they have a few roadblocks to their HEA. I hated for this book to end. In fact, in writing this review I actually did a re-read.

Cowboy Up by Harper Sloan
Pat's Review

Why?

This third book in the Coming Home Series is a mix of romance (SEXY romance) and the importance of family and friends, with a spark of suspense. [...] I'm hoping there are more Coming Home books in the future.

The Hookup by Kristen Ashley

Why?

Amazing.....I always think the last KA book I read is the best! But they just get better.

Close Contact by Lori Foster

Why?

The third book in the Body Armor series centers around Miles Dartman the “Legend,” former MMA fighter now new operator for Sahara Silver and her elite group. [...] As always, Lori Foster has written another romantic suspense that is impossible to put down!

Leader of the Pack by Roxanne St. Claire
Pat's Review

Why?

Lots of twists and turns and wonderful family moments make this book a wonderful read. I'm a great fan of Gramma Finnie. Even with all the danger Andi and Liam find some time for very hot moments.

New Tricks by Kelly Moran
Pat's Review

Why?

This novel was especially poignant for me; my mom suffered from dementia for the last several years of her life, and Ms. Moran was very accurate with her descriptions.

The characters are so much fun, their banter hysterical, and the family love warms your heart. This series is one I will read again and again

Catch My Fall by Jessica Scott
Pat's Review

Why?

These stories are emotional roller coasters. [...] Scott is an Iraqi war veteran, active duty officer, wife, and mother. She writes her stories from her heart and experiences, and it shows; I've read every one, and will continue to do so.

You know, I haven't read ANY of these books. And in most cases, I haven't read the author, period! Definitely adding them to my list. :)

What books made YOUR list for 2017?

Enjoy!

Until Next Time,
