What Did I Receive?

As you know, "What Did I Receive" is much like the popular "In My Mailbox". On Fridays, I try to post any and all books I may have received in the past week, unless I haven't had any deliveries. Unfortunately, the junk mail and bills seem to overflow my mailbox more often than books.... In a book lover's world, the roles would be reversed, of course! :D But I was extremely lucky this week, and I had two packages arrive, both on the same day. Here's what I found on my doorstep this past week: Monday: Love is a Battlefield by Annalisa Daughety (Thanks to LT's Early Reviewers Program!)

The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova (Thanks to Hachette Publishing and The Book Soulmates!)

I've got a few reviews already lined up ahead of these (see sidebar under "Upcoming Reviews"), but these two will be next on my list. Look for my reviews within the next week or two (at the most!). How about the rest of you? What did you find on your doorsteps this week? Feel free to share in the comments! Enjoy! Until Next Time,

I had a couple of great surprises this week myself I got Pride Mates by Jennifer Ashley and Desiring the Highlander by Michele Sinclair from NOR. And if that wasn't enough to have me doing the happy dance I also got Branded by the Sherriff by Delores Fossen that I won on Blanche's Blog! :) I hope you have a great one hon! HUGS :)

Cecile--
Ooh, I hope you enjoy those two-- they both are on my wish list as it is! :D

JennJ--
I so love surprises.... so much better than when the books arriving are ones you already knew about. :D Oh, I'm jealous now! Lol. I've been waiting for Ashley's "Pride Mates". And Sinclair's looks good too! Congrats on winning the book from Blanche's! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on all of them.

Thanks, both of you, and I hope you too have a good weekend. Unfortunately, it will never be long enough to satisfy, will it? *SIGH*. Oh well!

Enjoy!

I read The Historian a few years ago for a book club and really enjoyed it. Got a bit creeped out a few times from overimagination too. The length is a bit of a put off for some people, but it was worth the time. Hope you enjoy it.

Jill--
I've heard from a few friends that the beginning is a bit bland at times, but it picked up in the end. I think it'll be an interesting read, definitely something different from what I usually pick up!

Oh, from LT as well, or just from other sources? We'll have to compare notes on it! Lol. It's always more fun when you can discuss a book with others, instead of simply reviewing it for those who have yet to read it-- although I enjoy doing both, of course!

Enjoy,
