Where to Find Arianna:
Thank you for this opportunity. Recently, I managed
to transport myself to Fey and visit Rhiannon Nightwind (Kinsley on Earth) in
the White Palace. It was an interesting experience and I can’t wait to talk
about it with my readers. Enjoy!
Arianna:
I’ll be honest. I’ve never actually interviewed one of my characters before, so
please bear with me.
Rhiannon:
I’ve never been interviewed—save for when I applied for a job—so we’re in good
company.
Arianna:
Whew. That’s a relief. Let’s get this party started then. What do you do for a
living?
Rhiannon:
Before I returned to Fey, I worked as a graphic designer for a large company in
Phoenix Arizona. Now that I am in Fey,
I’m now a princess, though I really don’t have the typical persona you’d find
in a princess. I’m pretty sarcastic and outspoken.
Arianna:
Graphic design? That’s pretty cool. I dabble in graphic design, but I wouldn’t
brag about it. LOL.
Rhiannon:
I saw that cover for Rowan and Lara’s book. That was pretty good for someone
who doesn’t want to brag.
Arianna:
*blushes* Thanks! Did you ever think that your life would end up being in a
book?
Rhiannon:
Before Fey, heck no. My life would put a caffeine addict to sleep. After Fey, I
definitely got that whole Lord of the Rings vibe. Then again, Tolkien didn’t
have that much sex in his stories.
Arianna:
I suppose he didn’t. What are your favorite scenes in your book: the action,
the dialog or the romance?
Rhiannon:
I’m someone who enjoys opening my mouth. I’ve sometimes found myself inserting
my foot many a time, so I guess the dialogue. Then again, the romance kicks ass
too. Cerne is amazing.
Arianna:
No worries. I am a big sufferer of foot in mouth disease too. Have you ever
visited your writer’s dreams?
Rhiannon:
Ahh! I see what you’re up to now. I only tried it once, but for some reason you
keep dreaming about hot and sexy demons. What’s up with that?
Arianna:
*whistles innocently* What do you like to do when you are not being actively
read somewhere?
Rhiannon:
I’m busy managing White Faerie issues. Political stuff—would probably bore you.
But, I am about ready to give my first Royal Order, so that’s kind of exciting.
Arianna:
Is that the royal order I think it is?
Rhiannon:
Perhaps, perhaps not. *giant smirk spreading from cheek to cheek*
Arianna:
You tease. Are you happy with the genre your writer has placed you in?
Rhiannon:
Of course! I never imagined all the interesting things faeries can do.
Arianna:
Do I sense some innuendo there?
Rhiannon:
Of course! My life is a giant innuendo.
Arianna:
Alrighty then. Let’s carry on. If you could rewrite anything in your book, what
would it be?
Rhiannon:
I would have liked to have visited Earth one final time. But apparently the
laptop that Cerne used as a portal is now buried in a landfill. We’re still working
on finding a way. There’s always Samhain.
Arianna:
Those pesky landfills. Do you like the way the book ended?
Rhiannon:
It was very romantic. Then again, weddings always are. However, I’m kind of
bummed that Cerne’s brother is still trapped in the Outer Realm. Hint. Hint.
Arianna:
So you’re interested in a sequel?
Rhiannon:
Umm, yeah! You just can’t leave Sionnach trapped like that. That’s even crueler
than Korrigan putting him there in the first place. And to make people wait two
books? That’s torture!
Arianna:
Thanks for the input Rhiannon. Unfortunately, the way the series plays out
requires that book wait. My apologies.
Rhiannon:
No problem. Just trying to help out those
eager for Sionnach’s story.
Arianna:
Trust me, I’m just as eager—but as you mentioned earlier, demons are on my mind
right now—or I should say Sidney’s brain.
Rhiannon:
Just my luck, I end up with an author with multiple personalities. J/K

Wings of Desire by Arianna Skye
Excerpt:
"I'm not going to Fey—”
He reclaimed her lips. Intoxicating
warmth spread throughout her body while he licked, sucked and nibbled. She
gasped in pleasure and let his tongue probe the cavern of her mouth again.
Light as a feather, she sighed in deep contentment. By God, was she floating?
Closing her eyes, Rhiannon allowed him have his way with her.
"I'm sorry,” he breathed
against her lips. "It was the only way.”
Excerpt:
Cerne caught her hand in his and
gave her a heated gaze. "I didn't want to resort to this,” he said, his
voice thick and heady. "But I've run out of options.” He pulled her
against his hard-muscled body. With his thumb and forefinger, he lifted her
chin.
Clenching her fists, she bit her
lip. Tingling numbness filled her every pore. She attempted to pull herself
from his embrace, but her body wouldn’t cooperate.
"Let me go! You're frightening
me."
"It's for your own good and the
good of your people, my sweet.” He traced a finger lightly over her lips.
"Soon you'll understand.” He lowered his lips to hers and gently nibbled.
Coaxing her mouth open, his tongue swirled with hungry strokes along hers.
She moaned softly as her traitorous
tongue danced with his. Lessening his grip on her arm, he allowed her to press
closer and rub her bikini-clad breasts against the hard ridges of his chest.
Her nipples pebbled against the spandex of her swim top.
Stupid nipples.
She twisted her fingers in his dark
mane, pulling him closer. Heedless of what she knew was right, she intensified
the kiss. He hoisted her up onto his lap, letting her straddle the rock-hard
erection that filled his trousers. Grinding her hips against his, she reached
down to unfasten and untie the garment.
He pulled her hands away.
"No, leannan. I just want to kiss. The joining must occur at
Beltane—in Fey.”
"What—” Her eyes flickered as
spots danced before them until darkness took over.

Thanks for allowing me to interview Rhiannon today. It was a lot of fun. :)
You are so welcome, Arianna! :) I think character interviews are my favorite thing when visiting other blogs.
I'm just sorry that no one commented today! I really hope that the incident earlier in the week isn't the cause for it. I'm still pushing it on Twitter and Facebook, so perhaps they'll still show up before the end of the tour! :)
Enjoy,
