Here's my candidate for the week:

The Sinning Hour by Elise Rome
Release Date: 2012 (?)
Series: The Unmasked, 1
Genre: Historical Romance
A man accustomed to having whatever he wishes…

A year ago, the last thing portraitist Simon Astley expected was to become fascinated with his new housemaid. Although Miranda Post was no great beauty, he found his attraction for her continuing to grow until—rather than giving in to his wicked inclinations—he sent her away. No man could have regretted this momentary indulgence of conscience more.
A woman whose wishes have never come true…

Now a maid at London’s most exclusive gaming hell, Miranda has no time for either bitterness or the soothing of her bruised heart. She works hard and struggles to care for her dependent father, forbidding herself to dwell on either her dreams of the future or her memories of Simon.
At night all they need is one another…

Yet both her dreams and memories collide when Simon is commissioned to paint the portraits of the hell’s owners. Determined to right his mistakes, he offers to pay Miranda for the pleasure of painting her, too—but only in the privacy of his studio. She agrees to take his coin, even while knowing that every moment in his presence once again decimates her defenses…and threatens her heart.

Why?
I know this isn't a brand new cover, and I'm sure many fans have seen it already, but I just had to showcase it myself! :)

I love the vibrant color, the dress, the pose, everything! :)

The photograph used is from the amazing Jenn LeBlanc. The cover design by the amazing Carrie at Seductive Musings. :) Both do beautiful jobs on their own, but together? A-freaking-mazing.

I just started Seducing the Countess by Ashley March (Elise's other pen name) Friday, and I loved it! So I decided to browse her other books, and when I saw this cover (again) I knew what my L4C would be this week.

Oh, and the summary? Sounds great too, love the idea behind this new series, and I cannot wait to read it! :)

What cover are you currently lusting for? Tell me, I want to know! Follow the directions above on how to post your own Lusting for Covers, and leave a comment telling me what you think of the cover for The Sinning Hour?

!
Enjoy!

Until Next Time,

:D Historical is my first love, and always will be, I think. For a while, I was on a paranormal binge, and now I'm slowly fitting a few historicals back into my reading. I've got plenty in the ol' Mt.TBR!

Enjoy!

I'm glad to help spread the word! I've only read one of Ashley (Elise)'s books so far, Romancing the Countess, and it's great. I look forward to reading the other two she's got out, and waiting (impatiently) for this one to kick off her new career writing under Elise Rome.

Enjoy!

I know, the colors make all the difference! The original photograph had the girl in a bright pink dress. I'm really glad that Carrie changed it to this vibrant, warm yellow, I think it looks much better, and fits the historical look, of course. :)

Enjoy!

:D I've never been a huge yellow girl, but when it's a tone like this? I'm all for it!

Enjoy!
