WELCOME TO THE BLOG, NANA! :)
Nana's love of all things romance and adventure started with
a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin. It was a sultry
summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in
love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and
channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started
creating her own characters.
Waiting for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, in the
meantime Nana works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters
every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is. Though, until that ninja
job comes through, you'll find her acting out scenes for hubby, baby and puppy
while catching up on her favorite reality television shows in sunny San Diego.
Where to Find Nana:
~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~
The_Book_Queen: Hi Nana! Can you tell us a
little bit about yourself?
Nana: Oh, I’m just your average Ghanaian/American
girl who lives in sunny San Diego with an American husband who thinks my family
is crazy. My Big Fat Greek Wedding has
nothing on us. IN my infinite spare
time, I chase around my two year old trying to tame her wild mane of hair and
corral my spunky Scottie and occasionally let my hubby pamper me.
TBQ: What dream jobs did you have when you were younger? Do you still have one or two that you'd love to one day try?
N: Back in the day, I would have killed my best friend to be and MTV VJ. Today, I’m living my dream as a writer, though, I’ve always wondered what it’s like to be a Hype man for a Rapper.
TBQ: Your newest release, Sultry in Stilettos, is the second of your In Stilettos series.|. Can you tell us a little bit about this book, and why readers are going to love it?
N: Readers
are going to love the story of two best friends falling in love. We’ve all been there and had a major crush on
our best friend praying he noticed us.
It’s also a story about enduring friendships and the girlfriends who
keep us sane.
TBQ: You've written under a few different genre's so far, but are there any others that you would like to try your hand at?
N: One of these days, I’m going to write a YA book. I’ve had it on the back burner for ages.
TBQ: I know we all hate this question, author and reader alike. :) But I have to ask: What are a few of your favorite books and/or authors?
N: I love this question actually. I’m totally into Sylvia Day right now. Her Crossfire series is fantastic. I’m also in love, love, love with anything JR Ward writes, I’ll devour (Agree about Ward. I've yet to read Day, but she is high on my list!)
TBQ: We've all fallen for a hero (or two, or three, or....ahem). Tell us one hero that you've fallen for—who is he and what drew you to him?
N: Hmmm, there is just something about Gideon
Cross. Maybe it’s the billionaire thing.
Maybe it’s the sex appeal. But I think
it’s more his willingness to be vulnerable for one woman. There’s nothing sexier. (Mm...indeed!)
TBQ: What's next-- Can you tell us a little bit about your upcoming releases or WIP?
N: Oh boy, I have a few things in the works right now. I’m working on a sequel to Game, set, Match
called MisMatch. The heroine in that one
is the spunky sidekick from GSM.
I’m also working on the final in the in Stilettos series
right now called Sassy In Stilettos which stars Micha and Caleb from the other
stories. And I’ve got some Erotic short
stories in the works too, so I’m busy busy.
SPEED ROUND:
Spa for sure.
Reading a spicy romance novel OR a sweet
“my-heart-skips-a-beat” one?
Spicy all the way.
Which would you rather have an affair with: a sexy
highlander OR a devilishly handsome English lord?
English lord. I wouldn’t be able to understand a word the
highlander said. Lol. Scottish brogue is very hard to decipher. (True...but sometimes you don't have to understand the man to, well, enjoy him...*wink* LOL)
Hot summer days OR cold winter nights?
Some like it
hot. That’s me J
Where would your dream house be: in the city, where all the
action is OR nestled in the mountain where you can enjoy the quiet and the
wilderness?
In the city with the action.
In the city with the action.
If you could live in any time period, past or future, which
one would it be?
Future. I’m fascinated by where technology can take us.
Future. I’m fascinated by where technology can take us.
Cover Lover OR Blurb Fan?
It’s all about the blurb to pull me into the story.
Steamy Novella OR Sweet Novel? (aka, Quickie or Slow Build
Up?)
I’m keeping it real with the steamy novella J
- I’m also a hobbyist photographer.
- I used to be a dancer and have wanted to audition for So You Think You Can Dance.
- And I can read a full novel in about 3 hours J

Thanks so much for stopping by, Nana! :) I can't believe I haven't tried one of your books before now--must fix that ASAP! :)
And don't forget Nana's question:
What’s the funniest, most embarrassing thing that’s
ever happened to you?
Hm... let's see...I'm sure I have had plenty such moments over the years, but do you think I can come up with one right now? Nope. Mind's blank. Huh. Perhaps they were too traumatic, and I've wiped them from my memory, for my own protection. LOL.
Enjoy!
Until Next Time,
