Series: Love, 2
Genre: Contemporary Romance
There is no rehearsal for true love.
When A-list film actor Ryan Christensen ducked into her pub to escape his screaming fans, never in a million years did Taryn Mitchell think her life was about to change forever. But now, eight months later, after a whirlwind romance, Taryn wakes up in Ryan’s Hollywood hotel room to find a diamond to die for on her left ring finger—and her face splashed across the cover of every gossip magazine.
Ryan’s very public proposal is catnip to the tabloids, his management team is worried, and Taryn must figure out how a small town girl like her fits into his glittering world. What does it take to make a relationship work amidst telephoto lenses, daily on-set temptations, and jealous fans who will stop at nothing to keep you from walking down the aisle with the man of your dreams?
With no script to follow and no chance for a dress rehearsal, Taryn and Ryan will be forced to take the plunge and risk everything to make their love last.

Kame's Review:
“They only get the outside, not the inside. That’s for you.”
Love Unrehearsed starts just weeks after the end of Love Unscripted. Taryn and Ryan are about to embark on a new life filled with a movie premiere, press junket, and being on location for a new movie Ryan has the lead. Taryn is more confident and her few bouts of uncertainty and jealousy do not seem completely unreasonable. As the book progresses Taryn finds a new interest and considers walking away from the pub. Ryan has grown to be more protective of Taryn; his greatest fear now is her being hurt by his crazed fans. At times he considers the price of the fame might be too much for the life he wants with Taryn.
Taryn and Ryan are still the same couple I fell in love with during the first book. If anything their love id deeper and they are attracted to each other more. The love scenes are more intense. Taryn and Ryan are strong to their commitment of a “Forever” love, and they need to be as there are more challenges in this book. Their challenges would be enough plot for most books, but Tina Reber likes to pack in the plots in her books. So in this story we also see Mike, Ryan’s bodyguard, find love, Taryn’s friends learning how to deal with her new popularity/fame, infighting in Ryan’s “team”, and a few people of their past make an appearance. It appears the author was trying to tie up all the lose ends from the first book, in my opinion a few of those ends could have been left untied as I question how Taryn did not have a nervous breakdown dealing with everything in this book!
“I’m not playing this game anymore, Tar. All this b**** provides for one hell of a lifestyle so deal with it. I provide. I take care of what’s mine. And if you even so much as breathe on my wallet to get your card so help me God I will tie you’re a** up, lock you in a f**** room, and play Guns N’ Roses on endless loop.”
As in the first book I adored the dialog, it seemed real to me, and not contrived. My two favorite scenes from Taryn and Ryan’s love story are in this book: The whole night at Taryn’s first premiere and when Taryn is on set for the first time while Ryan films a sex scene. Both have them working at their relationship and communicating, they show a soft side of Ryan too. There are fantastic supporting characters also, all their friends are dynamic and real. Mike well he is just Mike, he has his own category and he just scream romance hero to me! The epilogue titled “Just Rewards” is satisfying, and the e-book contains a bonus chapter (DO NOT read before you finish the book or it will spoil a plot twist). A great read, that I am sure I will reread again (I have a few times already). I look forward to all of Tina Reber new releases.
4 1/2 STARS!

Kame purchased this book for herself before finishing Love Unscripted.

Meet Kame:
Kame is part of a family of readers; one day she picked up the Nook she purchased for her husband and discovered her love of e-books. A few months later he purchased one for her so he could have his back! Kame’s Nook is never far, and she is hard pressed to pick a favorite book, genre or author. As long as there are characters that make her want to sit down and have a chat and a plot keeps the pages turning, she’ll read it.

Welcome to the Jungle baby!!! As always, a great review Kame! This series kept popping up on my recommended lists from Goodreads and Amazon, but after Kame's suggestion, I finally sat down to read this series. I was not disappointed. The chemistry and dialogue are fantastic and I am looking forward to the third book where we will get more of Mike, the bodyguard.
I really liked the quotes. Great Review Kame!! Even though I don't read contemporary too often, I think after reading your thoughts on this one, I will have to put this in my tbr pile.
Lover of Romance,
Thanks for stopping by. I think this would be a great series to start with if you are new to Contemporary - but start with Love Unscripted first! Just as good and it is the start of the wonderful love story.
Thank you for noticing the quotes - they are the lines that get me when I read and I have much of my e-book highlighted for this series.
Colleen - thanks for stopping by! I knew you would love it. I think Kyle's book with his brothers will come out before Mike's. I am on the fence as Tina's writing made me dislike Kyle but I am sure she is going to show me some redeeming qualities. So glad you liked it!
