Here's my candidate for the week:
Publication Date: October 2013
Series: Hiding from Love, 0.5
Genre: New Adult Contemporary
Gabe Thompson enlisted to help out his buddy, but three years later he's 100% US military bad boy, serving in the desert of Afghanistan where the days are hot, but the nights are hotter.
Alexis Garcia is out to save the world. The University of Texas freshman has come to Afghanistan to do aid work with the United Nations. She's all about the peace, and she has no use for the camp's biggest, baddest, gun toting player.
But, sometimes camouflage is more than a color, and people aren't what they seem. When conflict develops not only between Gabe and Alexis, but also all around them, they're forced to look deeper, and what they find will rock their worlds and change their hearts forever.

Why?
Apparently I'm on a NA Contemp kick. Two weeks in a row now! :) There's just something about these fun, bright covers. And this one has a tatt, which automatically puts it on my CoverWhore radar! I have the first book in this series in my TBR pile, and I hope to read (and review) it very soon.
In this powerful debut novel, a young librarian grieves the loss of her husband...and discovers a love that defies classification.
It's been over three years since a train accident made a widow of Katrina Lewis, sending her and her young daughter Abbey back to the suburban town of her youth...the only place that still makes sense. Lauder Lake is the perfect place to hide and heal.
Recluse rocker Adrian "Digger" Graves survived the implosion of his music career, but his muse has long lain dormant. Until Kat hires him to play at her library—not on the basis of his hard rock credentials but rather, because of the obscure kids' TV jingle he wrote years ago. In a case of mistaken identity, Adrian stumbles into the lives of Kat and her comically lovable daughter.
Using tattoos as a timeline, Adrian unfurls his life for Kat. But as the courtship intensifies, it's unclear whose past looms larger: the widow's or the rocker's. Will their demons ever rest, or will they break these soul mates apart?

Why?
Kame: I requested the book because of the cover and I just finished it and it was great.
Not much overt sexy – but the tat, the black leather the guitar...
TBQ: I agree. It's still a sexy cover, but in a different way. Love it, thanks for sharing and I look forward to your review! :)

Both great picks. Love how you both have covers with tats. Camouflaged sounds different and interesting.
My L4C
Wicked - I already picked a cover for next week - has a tat but OOOOH so HOT
Loud was a good book - I find I have picked up my Kindle a few times to reread a scene or two
:) I'm slowly turning Kame into a tatt girl. I told you, we're brining her over to the darkside. Hehe.
Enjoy,
TBQ
Ooo...I just picked up Selena Laurence's book and am looking forward to reading it. The cover is all sorts of hawt. Gotta add Jessica Topper to my TBR pile, cause you know, I need more books :)
I don't mind good quality tats - its the ones that look like blurry photocopies I hate. Myself TERRIFIED of needles so no go - plus theHubs would probably faint as it is so out of my professor character...
mmm yeah loving the tats. great picks ladies!
Love the picks you both have here! love them both!! They definitely look original. :)
Lover - that is what I like about Loud - very original - and honestly the book was too - I just submitted my review to TBQ
Thank you! Next week might melt your screen!
:) Thanks!
Enjoy,
TBQ
