Kame's Review:

I finished at 12:14 am - I couldn't put it down!

Love this series!

Imagine walking into a friend’s house and seeing the boy who has been on your mind since he and his father "disappeared" over ten years ago.

Imogen lives a life of luxury, but she often thinks of Christian and how she was happy for two weeks when she was a teenager. Claire Boston conveys Imogen's sadness very well. I don't know how she has lasted all these years with her controlling father - who for me was the only reason this book is not a 5 star. Remy wore on me. Christian is driven and at times too willing to let a grudge stay. I like the aspect of his character that enjoys pro bono work and I wonder if that will be explored a little in the next book in the series.

As with the first book in this series the steam really happens behind closed doors, it doesn't take away from the emotion you feel between these two characters. There conflict was not what I expected and truthfully a little too simple in my opinion such that the resolution didn't have the ahaaaa factor I enjoy so much.

I will definitely be on the lookout for the next book in the series.

4 STARS!

A life built on lies...sounds intriguing.

It is - you don't have to read the first book - but that one was good too
