#FitReaders: Weekly Check-In


A new year, new goals. And this year I'm participating in FitReaders to help get in shape.

August 14th - 20th:

  • Friday --  Two walks.  38 minutes of Daily Burn. 15,803 Steps | 6.99 Miles
  • Saturday --  Two walks.  11,695 Steps | 5.17 Miles [DB Rest day]
  • Sunday --   Two walks.  43 minutes of Daily Burn.  14,573 Steps | 6.45 Miles
  • Monday --   Two walks.  52 minutes of Daily Burn.  14,909 Steps | 6.60 Miles 
  • Tuesday -- Two walks.  46 minutes of Daily Burn.  14,325 Steps | 6.30 Miles
  • Wednesday -- Two walks. 19 minutes of Stretching.  14,401 Steps | 6.19 Miles [DB rest day]
  • Thursday --  Two walks. 43 minutes of Daily Burn. 14,622 Steps | 6.47 Miles 

This week was the beginning of Week 6 of Cardio Sculpt, and man, they kicked up the workouts, both in time and intensity! After day 1 (Sunday), I was definitely sore. After day 2 and 3, I was DEAD. But I kept coming back, which is proof of dedication. Or insanity. I'm honestly not sure which some days. :) 

On a happy note, I've lost 2 pounds. It's been a long time since the scale went down. My exercise has always been very consistent and the right amount. My eating habits, sadly, are not always so consistent. I need to work on that. 

  • Total steps for the week: 100,328 Steps
  • Total miles for the week: 44.17 Miles
  • Total DB minutes for the week: 241 Minutes
