[Pat's Review]: "Tell Me You Need Me"

Tell Me You Need Me by Joya Ryan
Publisher: Entangled: Brazen (November 16, 2015)
Genre: Contemporary Romance

A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint...

Playing dirty can be the best kind of fun…

Chloe Franklin wouldn’t call herself a commitment-phobe, so much as she’s allergic to anything long term. She loves the sexy, sweaty, and intensely hot hours of the night that come before the sun rises, though. Especially when those nights are spent with Search-and-Rescuer Gage McGraw...

Gage loves his job, but there is one thing he’s starting to like more than the rush of a mission—a stacked blonde with a mouth that haunts his dreams. Every time he steps foot in the sleepy town of Beaufort, he hooks up with Chloe. But he’s tired of hooks-ups. He wants more.

Just the sight of Gage gets Chloe's blood going. Hot, bothered, and finally naked, she’s ready for their night to start. But before he takes her, he whispers what his intentions really are…and then the games really begin.

Pat's Review:

If you're looking for a very sexy read with great characters and some laughs, I suggest this book.

Chloe Franklin has lived in Beaufort, South Carolina her whole life.  She grew up in the house that was transformed into a bar and restaurant by her Mom. It is called Honey's and she's trying very hard to make it a successful tribute to her Mom. Two years ago she met a handsome Search and Rescuer named Gage McGraw, while he was in town for the weekend. The weekend was hot, sexy and memorable. So much so they have repeated it multiple times over the last two years. Chloe has a commitment phobia, so sporadic weekends is perfect for her.

Gage is former military, and loves his job with search and rescue. The travel, the great emotional high of finding the missing, and the adrenaline rush make him feel alive. That is, until a recent rescue almost ended his life. He realized that if he had died, no one would miss him, and that was a wake up call. He is in Beaufort for three weeks training new recruits, and decided to try and make Chloe more than a weekend fling. Starting with dating.....seems simple enough but horrifies Chloe. So Gage resorts to bribery. If she agrees to go on a date he will happily give her whatever she wants.......which is hot sex.

Gage wants to continue his travel and S&R, but Chloe doesn't want to sit waiting for his return from his dangerous missions. His pursuit of a date and her frustration with his rules  for sex made me laugh out loud.  As far as Chloe is concerned, "love is a cliche." She saw it in her own life, her Dad leaving and occasionally returning, and the depression and misery it caused her Mom. She would rather be alone than suffer from her heart breaking a little at a time.  Is there even a possible compromise?

This sizzling story in a quaint little town is a quick fun read. I enjoyed the secondary characters, and hope they have a story also.

4 STARS!
