2016 Reading Plan

As 2015 is coming to an end, I'm already planning ahead to 2016's reading. 

As many of you already know, my TBR pile is out of control. No, really: OUT. OF. CONTROL. Print, Kindle, other ebooks . . . it's crazy! And while I don't buy as many new books (print or ebook) as I used to, I still manage to keep adding to that pile.


So my plan for 2016 is to work on my piles more, specifically my print pile.


I can ignore my out-of-control Kindle for years yet. Because, you know, it doesn't take up half my room.


I'm joking about the "half my room" part.


Mostly.




Anyway, I'm going to go through my TBR print pile in 2016. My goal is to read at least one book from the pile each week, more if I have the time. I'll still be reading my ebooks for review and ones I've bought, but I'm going to rotate in more print books, too.


Also, as I'm going through my print pile, if I find one that I'm just not getting into, or no longer want to read, it's time to give it away so that the book can find a good home. It's not doing me any good to have the book sit here, covered in dust, for the rest of eternity.


If I have a new, or new-ish, copy of a book that I no longer want, I may put it into a quick giveaway here on the blog. We'll see.


A peek at the insanity that is my print TBR pile:

Ignore the huge dictionary, it's not part of my "need to read" list. :)

Four stacks here (two in back, two in front). These stacks are about 3 feet high, at least. 

And that's not all of them. *sigh*
