I shared my review Thursday, you can read it HERE. I really did enjoy this. It was fun and super sexy, plus who can resist a rock star? I had a few issues with the pacing and such (explained more in my review) but overall I still recommend it and look forward to the rest of the series! 4 Stars

-- The Marriage Contract by Katee Robert -- [Audiobook, Library]

I'm not sure if it was the book, the writing, the narration, or my mood, but I wasn't wowed by this one. I liked it, it was sexy, and I'm curious enough to come back for the other siblings' stories, yet I was also able to zone out easily (I listen while walking each day) and that's not a good sign. Like I said, it could have been my reading mood; I had just finished a fantastic audiobook (Sebastian York!) so maybe that was the problem. Still, I'll be continuing this series, too. 3 Stars

The narration was okay, 3 stars as well. I felt like the narrator gave the characters a New Jersey accent though, and I thought they were all from Boston.

-- Dark and Dazzling by Elizabeth Varlet --

Meh . . . I had good hopes for it (enjoyed book 1), and was liking it just fine. Up until the 55% mark or so, when it took a turn towards iffy plot devices and after that I just didn't care much -- about the story or the characters. I finished, but honestly I skimmed some pages to do so. I had planned on doing a full review but at this point I just want to move on to something else. I'll probably still try the next book, but for me, this one was a disappointment. Warning: there's some dubious consent and "I need money so I'll do anything..." scenes in here, so if that's an issue for you, perhaps skip this one. 2 Stars

Yep, I am reading my first F/F today. I'm trying to read outside my "norm" (and by that I just mean what I'm used to reading) and the cover and blurb on this caught my eye on NG. Sadly I'm behind on reading/reviewing though (out today from the publisher's site, Monday everywhere else).
