Pat's Review:

Diego Torres is a member of SEAL Team 7 and also part of the elite spec ops group called Poseidon. They all went through training together and are the best of the best. They are the only family he has now, and "No Man Left Behind" is part of his mind set.  After a treacherous mission that lost a member of the team and left another seriously burned, they are devastated. Especially when there is no body to return. Suddenly they are being investigated by the CIA and NI for treason. Information was sold to the enemy from the location of their last mission, and every team member is a suspect.

Harper Maclean is a single mom and successful interior designer. Her son Nathan is the light in her life. At seventeen she was left pregnant and alone, and has fought for everything she has since then. The father has not had contact since she told him she was pregnant, which is fine with her. Suddenly she gets the information he has been killed on a mission. Harper feels nothing but relief. Not too long after receiving the information she is contacted by someone on his team wanting to return his belongings -- and to meet Nathan (her son). No way!

The only connection the team can come up with to the supposed traitor is the woman who had his child. All their investigations into her life show nothing suspicious, but Diego moves into a rental next door to Harper to get up close and personal. His cover is that he is a security specialist. He makes friends with Nathan, hoping to get closer to Harper. Soon, he likes them too much, and the attraction has become mutual. The lies he is keeping would surely mean the end of them, but he's on a mission, and personal feelings must be left aside. Until the danger comes too close...

Suspenseful, sexy and SEALS -- that alone makes a good story! Harper is a strong, protective Mom that can handle anything, except these extreme threats to her child. Diego can't fight away the strong feelings he feels for them both. He's in his own battle to protect them, and still do his duty. Very exciting read.
