Rating: 4 1/2 Stars
Notes: Dual 1st POV
February Royal Pick
- Artist (fan art and graphics -- he prefers the former) + Twitch moderator
- Surfer and co-moderator for the same Twitch channel
- Meet up at a vid con
- Hook up before their panel -- but Jesse (surfer) doesn't know that Ian is his co-mod "Cherrycakes"
- Obviously creates some conflict
- Ian has his reasons for staying so closed off from people
- Angst (no surprise if you're a fan of Megtino)
- Each man has his own past and problems and they must work through it
- Steamy
- Admittedly . . . slightly less than the first two, imo, but still hot!
- Sarcasm throughout
- Loved, but out of the three in the series so far, it's my least favorite
- Didn't feel the deep, instant connection to these two like I did with books 1 and 2
- Highly rec this series and both authors individually
- Can't wait to see what the next book brings . . .

Favorite quote:
Jesse: I thought you were salty and hateful?
Ian: Well, I am. But not to you. You’re special or something.
[Then near end of book]
Ian: This is why you’ll always be my sweet little cinnamon roll.
Jesse: …
Jesse: You’re the weirdest person ever, and still my most favorite human. I swear.
Any Duchess Will Do by Tessa Dare

Narrators = Eva Kaminsky
Narration rating = 4 1/2 Stars
Rating = 5 Stars
February Royal Pick
- Griff has a meddling mother set in marrying him off -- he's determined to stay a bachelor
- She drugs him (yes!) and takes him to Spindle Cove (so many eligible ladies, she says)
- He makes a deal with her: he picks a woman, she has one week to make her into a duchess, and if she succeeds, he'll marry her
- He picks the barmaid, Pauline, believing that he'll win the bet and stay single forever
- Pauline works hard, cares deeply for her sister, and has dreams of one day opening up a lending library in the town
- Agrees to Griff's arrangement ($ for her dream)
- Neither excepts that so much can happen in a week . . .
- Dare's usual lovely writing, great characters, story, and world
- Excellent banter
- A good dose of heat
- A truly lovely romance
- Narration was excellent, I'd definitely listen to Kamiinsky again.

Favorite quote:
It seemed any young woman at odds with her place in life—be she a genteel lady or a serving girl—might find a happier home within the pages of a book.
