A hot, quick read with a bit of suspense/action and Erickson's usual fantastic writing and characters. I'm glad to hear that Tara's brother will be getting a story next year!

I quite enjoyed this one. I had some questions about the world building, but perhaps that'll be better explained in later books, and I wasn't overly fond of the narrator's voice for the hero, but regardless I still had a good time listening to this one and will be back for more.

I found this story extremely boring, nothing happened, and the romance was MIA for so long and then insta-love to get the HEA in the last few chapters. I didn't see it, didn't believe it, and walked away from this book quite disappointed. I didn't hate anything, I didn't rage about anything along the way (hence the 2 stars rather than 1) but I didn't like anything about it enough to bump the rating up higher than this.

I really enjoyed this one, it was hot, slightly kinky, and just enjoyable to read and visit this world. However, I was left wanting more from this poly relationship -- not that Ian and Lydia would fuck, since he's gay not bi -- and felt Lydia was a cardboard character here. :(
