TBQ'S Book Palace: Whatcha Reading? (August 25th)

This is going to be a short post. My week has been crazy: my grandpa is still up in the cardiac ICU (they finally placed a stint Thursday afternoon), and needless to say between running around trying to take care of things, struggling to find a ride, and still trying to play "keep your blogging head just barely above water", I haven't had the time, energy, or concentration to read much. Which REALLY sucks because what I need right now is a good escape but my brain just isn't cooperating with me. *sigh*

So I only finished 1 book this week, and I'm still on the same audiobook, though I should have that finished by today.

✦ Sloooow burn, and not overly graphic or anything, but still quite hot. Like when he pushes her up against a bookshelf, kneels, and eats her out? GOD DAMN
✦ They basically say I love you over a comet discovery and it's very sweet
✦ Okay but the two girls are more than a bit creepy, always killing the damn doll and doing a funeral for her.
✦ Sure, they improve by the end. But still. *shudders* Kids are creepy
✦ Dare’s books are always comforting and fun and this one is no different

Almost done. This one is okay; could be partly my mood, but mostly I think it's that I'm not feeling the romance that much. Definitely the weakest of this trilogy.
