Favorite Romance Novels With Memorable Lingerie Scenes

In Candy Hearts, one of the heroes, Benji, is super into lingerie. He likes to wear it because it bolsters his confidence. It’s part of who he is, an expression of his self. Through the course of the story, he is able to wear lingerie in intimate moments with a partner for the first time. I wanted to show how this is an act of vulnerability and trust for him, as well as writing the scenes to be super hot!
I love reading sex scenes where underwear or lingerie is integral to the moment. Below are just a few of my favorites!
Beyond Shame by Kit Rocha
This post-apocalyptic romance between Noelle, an innocent woman banished to the gritty a realm of bootleggers, and Jasper, a bootlegger and cage fighter, has its fair share of lace and leather. My favorite scene is between Noelle and Lex, a woman who takes Noelle under her wing, in which they perform for an audience to assert Noelle’s freedom and autonomy. In the scene, Lex is dressed in a white virginal teddy and Noelle is in a black and red corset.
The Princess Trap by Talia Hibbert
In The Princess Trap, Cherry has no idea she’s about to hook up with royalty until they’re caught by paparazzi, and Prince Reuben has to lie and say they are engaged to protect her. In one memorable scene, Reuben teases Cherry mercilessly through her cotton underwear, which is a perfect example of how something common, like cotton, can be endlessly sexy.
Tough Guy by Rachel Reid
In Tough Guy, a professional hockey enforcer with anxiety, Ryan, runs into a crush from his past, Fabian. Fabian and Ryan form a close bond as Ryan deals with the toll hockey is taking on his body and mind. There is one amazing scene in which Fabian wears lacy panties. Bonus points in this scene for sex toys, dirty talk, and sexy consent.
Private Eye by Katrina Jackson
In Private Eye, cam girl, Maya, and spy, Kenny, pose as a couple in her camroom to catch an Albanian mobster. Sparks fly in the camroom and the real world. Maya’s lingerie collection is amazing. My favorite scene is one in which she wears a green lace bodysuit because she knows Kenny loves green on her. She gets herself off as he watches, as does the camroom, and he catalogs all the parts of her that turn him on. It’s wildly sexy and intimate.
Pretty Boy by Misha Horne
I am a Misha Horne stan, and Pretty Boy is basically one big memorable lingerie scene. This m/m romance is about London, a new homeowner who accidentally gets his hot neighbor Erik’s mail, including a lingerie-for-men catalog. London buys silky pink panties from the catalog, only to be caught with them when Erik comes over to help him repair a sink. The scenes that ensure are full of discovery, sweetness, and lite kink.
