Pat's Review:

Ashley Mitchell and Ryan Turner are partners in their puppy training class. Ashley has a lovable mutt called Bluebelle,  Ryan has a pit bull rescue that is named Gunner and he is taking his training very seriously. Ryan keeps everyone on their toes and laughing during the class, but he would really rather charm his training partner.  The class is now over and Ashley and Ryan realize their dogs are in love.  That's fine with Ryan, he would be happy to see more of Ashley.  Ashley is not so anxious to jump into dating Ryan. He is a much admired tight-end for the Atlanta Avengers, he even has his own billboard.  Ashley has been burned badly by a football player who actually left her at the altar.  Football players are not her favorite people.  Ryan sways her thinking by trying to bribe her. Two dates and a puppy get together, and he will donate $100,000 for disabled veterans.  A charity close to her heart since her brother lost a leg in Afghanistan.  She reluctantly agrees, two dates.

This novella is a very enjoyable read with great characters and a very romantic love story.  Not to mention the dogs try to steal the show. The only problem with a novella, it leaves you wanting more!  I highly recommend this delightful summer read.
