This Year's Black (#2) -- Pat

Pat's Review:

Salvation, Virginia is suffering the fate of a lot of small towns. People are moving away, small businesses are in trouble and they desperately need revenue.  Miranda Sweet and her two sisters have inherited a dying brewery from their infamous uncle.  Their plan is to fix it up, sell it and be done with Salvation. Sounds like a good plan, but, Salvation is not very fond of the Sweet's and the local reigning family, the Martin's are bitter enemies.

Logan Martin is the President of Martin Bank. He constantly lives under the shadow of his father, and is trying very hard to make a name for himself. He has tirelessly worked  to entice other businesses to Salvation by building an industrial park . Of course, it will be called Martins.  This success of this plan rests on getting rid of the brewery and using the land. Logan sees no problem until he meets with Miranda Sweet, the girl that got away.

The characters are wonderful and very believable. The lovers, enemies, lovers story between Logan and Miranda is fun.  I will admit, Logan was not my favorite person for a while. I needed a little groveling for forgiveness. You also can learn some interesting facts about breweries and brewing craft beers. We meet Natalie and Olivia Sweet, Miranda's sisters and I am sure they will have their own story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this eBook, as I have all of Ms. Flynn's books. It's sweet, very sexy and so much fun.

5 STARS!
