Pat's Review:

It is always a pleasure to review a Jill Shalvis novel. There are so many wonderful things about her stories, the hysterical banter between characters, the story line usually has a little twist to give it some adventure, the romance and of course a dog! In this story we have the rescued  Burnese mountain dog, Oreo, who is afraid of his own farts.

Zoe Stone lives in a 150 year old Victorian home, left her by her grandparents. Until recently she shared with her brother Wyatt and sister Darcy, but they have found their soul mates, so she is on her own. She is a professional pilot who can fix anything on her plane, but leaking sinks, clogged drains and bricks falling when she slams doors is a mystery to her. She is determined to go on a blind date, even though Darcy is trying to tell her the dress she's wearing makes her look like a granny going to bingo. Darcy has convinced Zoe to start this date off right, get the goodnight kiss over with when she opens the door, the rest of the night will be so more relaxing.

Parker James is an Agent in Charge for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service. He spends a lot of time undercover, and recently lost a friend and was injured on a case. He is supposed to be relaxing, healing but he can't get his mind off the case. Taking advantage of his good friend Wyatt's invitation he will be staying in the big old house with Zoe. He is quite amused when he knocks and the door and is opened by a long legged beauty who kisses him with out a word. Yes, he's going to enjoy his stay in Sunshine, Idaho. I laughed out loud at some of Zoe's predicaments. Walking in on Parker's shower, her crazy house problems and of course her lack of baking skills. But underneath is a beautiful love story, with a little danger and all our friends from Sunshine. Parker is trying to bring down a dangerous animal poacher, but Zoe gets under his skin. Ms. Shalvis never disappoints me with her wonderful novels.

5 STARS!
