My Review:
Eloisa James kicks off her first serial beautifully, giving the readers a peak into the background of Grace and Colin's life.
I can certainly connect with Grave. She's nothing like her younger sister Lily, who is prizes for her beauty, charm and warmth. Grace is more of the quiet and kind wallflower. After years of writing to Colin, hoping he would finally see how much she loves him, she has hear heart broken when he visits and asks for Lily's hand instead.
Colin...oh Colin. You've been through a great deal, served your country when you never wanted to kill anyone. But will you realize that true prize you can have, before it's too late?
4 STARS! A lovely introduction, and one I quickly read, anxious for more. I can only hope that the remaining two parts are just as wonderful as this one!
