Here's my candidate for the week:

Sweeter than Sin by Shiloh Walker
Publisher: St. Martin's Paperbacks (September 30, 2014)
Series: Secrets and Shadows, 2
Genre: Romantic Suspense

It took years for Adam to stop drowning his regrets in alcohol, and running the local bar doesn’t make it any easier—especially not when everyone he knows gathers there to discuss the shocking allegations that have shattered his hometown. When another murder rocks sleepy Madison to its core, it becomes chillingly clear that even more vicious wounds are waiting to be exposed.

Nothing is sacred anymore, and no one is safe, least of all the mystery woman who shows up in town out of the blue, looking like every fantasy Adam’s ever had. She may have her own dangerous secrets, but she can’t ignore the urgent heat between them any more than he can. As a killer’s quest for vengeance explodes into violence, Adam is tempted to lose himself in the delicious promise of her body—until he realizes he’ll risk anything if she’ll give him her heart…

There's just something about this cover that grabbed me -- the pose, maybe? The look between the two? The hero's tatts? (Okay, that's an obvious reason if you know me at all . . . ) And the covers for the rest of the series are sexy, too! :)

Kame's Pick

Hell for Leather by Julie Ann Walker
Publisher: Sourcebooks Casablanca (May 6, 2014)

TBQ - I want to read your book! Have you read the first one - do I need to start with that one? Love your cover! I have my choice as a review book - so the review will follow!

I haven't read it, but I'm definitely intrigued, too! It looks like there are a few novellas before the 1st book, too, so I would presume it's best read in order.

Ah, you know my weakness! ;)

HOT PICKS!!! These are both lovely covers. I think I love the top one most, you know me and the couple poses. Although I do adore a man with beautiful shoulders and arm-a personal weakness of mine. Sigh, okay I choose them both LOL

The_Book_Queen said...

*nods* Both is always the correct answer in this situation!

Ooo nice picks! I hadn't seen either. And gah Walker really does have some great covers. I wish the series worked for me because I sure do lust after them. lol

Somehow, Sunday got away from me. Okay...the whole damn weekend got away from me, lol.

Sorry to be late, but here is my L4C for this week:

Cannot wait to read Hell For Leather, which is patiently waiting in my kindle.

Have an awesome week!

*nods* I know how that goes! I'm glad you could join the fun anyway. :D
I still need to read that series; I know Kame has enjoyed every book so far so I have high hopes!

The_Book_Queen said...

Ah, her books didn't work for you? That makes me even more curious to find out which side I'll be on then. :) But yes, regardless of the book itself, her covers are all L4C worthy!

Anna@herding cats&burning soup said...

Not so much. They're not bad just not my style. The heroes aren't what I need hero-wise. Just something about them that doesn't mesh well with me. But everyone else I know that's read them LOVED them. So it's probably totally just me. lol
