[Kame's Snapshot]: "The Wedding Trap"

Today Kame is sharing her thoughts, much like a mini-review, of a recent book she read.

Except Beth has a way of stumbling into trouble, and when the man Alex is hunting starts targeting Beth, Alex has to decide between duty and the woman who has stolen his heart.

Kame's Thoughts:


Beth is very happy to be the maid of honor in her best friend’s wedding. They have knowing each other for years; the only bad part is her ex-boyfriend is the brother of groom and best man. To keep the ex away and her mother off her back she creates a fictitious boyfriend. When pressured from her mother as to why her boyfriend is not attending the wedding Beth finds a stranger who is willing to act the part. What she doesn’t know at the time is that this stranger is actually a CIA agent monitoring a certain wedding guest.


Beth is a great friend. I loved her humor. She was rather matter of fact about the danger she was in, but at the same time rather take charge about her feelings for Alex when she realized how deep they were. Alex is a hunk. I would not classify him as the most romantic, romantic suspense hero I have ever read. He seemed to develop deep feelings for Beth quickly and didn’t have any issues with taking their relationship personal.


The plot was pure escapism for me. More than one aspect made me question if that would really happen, but it flowed with the book and it really was enjoyable. I did question Beth’s ability to hold it all together as well as she had with all the things that happened to her.



Honestly this is a great beach read, or for a plane. There was nothing too confusing to make you not be able to follow if you had to put it down. I would definitely read another book from this author.
