A new year, new goals. And this year I'm participating in FitReaders to help get in shape.
#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog and That’s What I’m Talking About. Interested in joining? Find out more HERE!
January 9th - 15th:
- Since the flu finally left me alone (yay!) I was able to stick to my twice daily dog walks. I even bumped up the distance.
- My best day was Wednesday; I took the dogs for the morning walk, was able to take a walk with my neighbor that afternoon, and then took the dogs for their second walk that evening, for a grand total of over 14K steps and 6.6 miles for the day! :)
- I slacked off on my daily crunches/squats/jumping jacks. I will start again on Sunday.
- Total steps for the week: 70,339
- Total miles for the week: 31.11
- Weight: No change. :(
If you use FitBit, you can find me HERE. Let's make 2015 our year to get fit! :)
Enjoy!

Awesome job on Wednesday! Yay!!!
Thanks! :) I hope I can do so again this week; Wed is the only day my neighbor has off, and I so enjoy our walks together. There's something different about walking with a friend versus walking alone; I love doing both, but for different reasons. :)
Great job and it's good to hear your are feeling better!
Thanks, Kathy! :)
Great job last week. Those dog walks really help - and dogs are such great walking buddies.
They really are. Without them, I'd have a tough time getting motivated every single day -- rain, sun, or snow. :)
