That’s why she’s stunned—and delighted—when one night at a party, she attracts the attention of a gorgeous stranger. But when Daphne decides she wants the handsome billionaire for herself, Cade Archer is suddenly off-limits for Kylie…

Cade has known Daphne for years, and always wondered if she might be the right woman for him—even though she never gave him the time of day. But one sizzling night with Kylie has changed everything. So why is she suddenly avoiding him? Fortunately Cade is determined to get what he wants, and he’ll do anything to show Kylie she can get everything she wants too…

My Review:

I have to admit: One Night with a Billionaire was simply “okay” for me. I didn't hate it, by any means, but I didn't adore it, either. It just . . . was. Which is the hardest reaction to explain.

I was happy that the heroine, Kylie, was on the curvy side; we need more romances with heroines that have different body shapes.

The drama from the tour Kylie was working on was a bit much at times, but yet fairly realistic to what really goes on in the industry, I'm sure.

Kylie and Cade have their fair share of smexy moments, and you'll hear no complaints from me! Flirty, hot, and sexy, I think these scenes were my favorite part of the book. (The following quote was from a text message exchange.)

Kylie: Did you get it?
Cade: Christ almighty.
Cade: That...is incredible.
Cade: I think I need a moment. And a private room. And possibly a cold shower.
Kylie: They're just boobs. Big naked boobs :D
Cade: They are not just boobs. They are THE boobs. The best boobs I have ever seen.
Kylie: You're quickly earning yourself another picture tomorrow. But I want one of you, too.
Cade: Alas, my boobs are less magnificent than yours.
Kylie: First of all, "alas"?? You texted me "alas"??
Cade: You texted me "finagle" the other day!

This is my second time reading Jessica Clare, and I must say her writing style is fun and easy. I'll definitely be back to try more.

I like the series (those are the only Jessica Clare's books I've read), and this book is on my wishlist but I haven't gotten it yet. Thanks for the review and the giveaway! :)

I can't think of any favs off the top of my head, but I have to agree that we need more romances with heroines with different body shapes .... curvy, flat, average --- all of 'em. :-D

That is cool that she's a curvy girl and based on that quote, it sounds like she's well adjusted. I read the Glory St. Claire stories and she's supposed to be curvy, but she's more like average and whines about being fat.

I read the Hitman series that she does with Jen Frederick and love it, but I read one from the earlier billionaire series and was only in like. I agree that her book can be light and fun.
