Confident but distrustful Sophie Caldwell needs help if she's going to save her family business. Her grandma left one rule for Sophie to maintain ownership from her uncle before she's thirty: get married. But how does she get her uncle off her ass when she's only twenty-seven and hasn't had a boyfriend in years?
Lean, cut, British-born MMA fighter Xander James has never lost a fight, and he's not about to start now. On the brink of a comeback to be a UFC champion, his landlord wants to take away his last chance by shutting down his gym. No. Hell no. Fortunately, his landlord's niece has a problem of her own. Time for a proposal she can't refuse.

Pat's Review:
This is the final novel in the series that started with Seducing Cinderella. It centers around a group of friends, all prospective or current MMA fighters, finding their soul mates. This story is about Xander James, a Brit, and a local baker, Sophie Caldwell, owner of Sophie's Sweet Shop.
Sophie is living her dream. She has taken over her Gram's shop and made it her own. She is starting to have quite a following with her new innovative sweets, even some healthy ones. She is in the same block of stores where Xander runs a gym TLP2 (The Lucky Pineapple 2). He manages the gym, trains clients and spends a lot of time training with his buddy Reid. Xander is hoping to break back into the UFC as a pro after a debilitating injury made him have to stop fighting for a while. His next fight is a semi-pro match and he has to win it.
Xander runs by Sophie's shop often, and admires her tattoos, piercings and beautiful jade green hair. Not to mention the very sexy pull she seems to have for him.
Unfortunately Sophie's uncle, Richard, is looking to sell the whole block where these small businesses are located, and turn it into a mall. The only chance of Sophie keeping her home and store is to marry. After a series of really bad relationships, that seems unlikely. But Xander has other ideas. Why not get married -- they're friends, spend a lot of time working, and after six months they can divorce. So after a lot of discussion, off to Vegas they go. Living together is a lot more difficult then they thought. Sophie's shoe collection alone can take over the apartment. Xander is seriously in lust with Sophie, and she's having a lot of trouble fighting her feelings also. There is a lot of sizzling sexual tension in the air.
This novel is filled with friends, love, and laughter. It's a lot of fun catching up with Jax and Vanessa, Aidan and Kat and of course Lucie and Reid. I hated to see this series end, but the epilogue is a beautiful send off, complete with champagne, to this delightful series.
