Reviews for Kincaid's books:

Pat's Review:

Isabella Moreno is a detective in the Intelligence Dept of the local PD. Kellan Walker, her fiancĂ©, is a firefighter at Station Seventeen. After a hilarious proposal it’s six months later, it's nearly Christmas and their wedding is in five days.

12 years ago, Isabella lost her cousin/sister Marisol to a kidnapping that's never been solved. It’s always there in her subconscious, hoping she will find the killer and bring him to justice. She and Kellan even planned their wedding for Marisol’s birth date. Suddenly out of the blue, her boss tells her a clue has emerged from a recent case very similar to Marisol’s. She is not to be involved, but she wants to investigate on her own and Kellan always has her back. Investigations techniques have changed a lot in twelve years and hard work leads to a suspect. The suspense is exciting, as they're also counting the hours to the wedding and a honeymoon in Fiji. Will the case be solved in time?

We get to mingle with all our favorite characters and the love and laughs they share. This novella is a great mix of sexy, romance and suspense. Ms. Kincaid herself recommends reading Skin Deep before this novella, otherwise it might be confusing. [This is a follow up novella to Skin Deep, with the same couple.] The rest of the books are stand alone, but so much fun to read. This is a wonderful Christmas novella with a bit of drama.

4 STARS!
