Pat's Review: Tossed Into Love

Tossed Into Love by Aurora Rose Reynolds
Publisher: Montlake Romance (August 21, 2018)
Series: Fluke My Life, 3
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Can the best of enemies become the hottest of lovers? New York Times bestselling author Aurora Rose Reynolds proves that opposites can be compatible—and twice as combustible…

Libby Reed is over it. Or that’s what she tells herself. She’s lusted after one of New York’s bravest for years, but firefighter Antonio Moretti has doused her interest for the last time. As much as she wants the arrogant jerk (in a bad, bad way), they can’t even be in the same room without setting each other off…which might be a problem now that she’s volunteered to help out in his family’s restaurant.

Antonio’s been burned before. Now he knows better than to trust a pretty face and follow another pair of long, beautiful legs into heartbreak. But while Libby might rub him the wrong way, he can’t deny the heat between them. And it only burns hotter when she steps up in his time of need. The closer they get, the more he realizes he may have misjudged her. Then again, he doesn’t know the secret Libby’s keeping that could send their relationship up in flames before it’s even begun.

Pat's Review:

This is the third in a very entertaining series about three sisters living and working in NYC. This novel centers around Libby Reid, a cosmetologist at a high class salon on Madison Avenue. She enjoys her job, but is starting to feel there is something else she wants to do. Libby’s just not sure what that is.

Antonio Moretti is a full time firefighter, his parents own a local very busy Pizzeria, Tony’s. He has resented this business for years because he feels it is exhausting and aging his father. Libby loves Tony’s and has become very close to the owners, not to mention her attraction to sexy
Antonio. But he calls her Princess and treats her like a spoiled brat. When Tony suffers a heart attack and ends up having surgery, his wife Martina won’t leave his side, which means Antonio is very unhappily in charge. Libby tells Martina and Tony she will help, and braces for Antonio to be a jerk. He doesn’t disappoint. But slowly, Antonio starts to see the real Libby, and realize he has misjudged her. After a hilarious water fight in the kitchen.....things start heating up!

I enjoyed reading this sexy, funny story and it can be read as a stand alone. But the first two in the series look equally as fun.
