One look.

Just like that.

That’s all it takes for me to know I wanted Ava for more than one night. She takes a single look at me and only sees a player.

The young, single mom doesn’t give her trust easily. Convincing her I want more than a one night stand is the best thing I’ve ever done until it all crashes down around me.

As I’m framed for crimes I didn’t commit, I fight to prove my innocence and battle to convince Ava and her daughter to stay.

When the stakes rise, will I be able to prove my vow of devotion?

Pat's Review:

Hudson Wells is co-owner of his families construction company, and has big dreams for his first project. Nowhere in those plans is a relationship or the dreaded L word. A chance meeting at a park leaves him feeling like he had been struck by lightning. Ava has just moved to the area, is a elementary school teacher with a six year old named Lilly. She has finally started on the road to her dream job she has been struggling toward for years. Right now the most important thing to her is Lilly adjusting to the move.

When this drop dead gorgeous guy sits next to her on her bench, she see’s him as a player. He proves to be a great friend, and soon she and Lilly can’t imagine life without him.

A beautiful contemporary love story, the characters are wonderful and Lilly is the star. I’ve loved every book in the Vow Series. Each is a stand alone read but with interconnecting characters. The epilogue is a glimpse into heaven.

I really enjoy reading this series and hope there are more to come.
