[Kame's Snapshot]: "Sinful Seduction"

If you recall, recently we asked your opinion on a new type of quickie post. We received some great feedback about what you would like to see, but please continue to tell us what works and what doesn't so we can improve even more in the future!

Today Kame is sharing her thoughts, much like a mini-review, of a recent book she read.

In future Snapshots, we could be sharing book quotes, discuss the book, rant about it, or recommend it! :)

Sinful Seduction by Katie Reus
Publisher: Katie Reus (April 28, 2014)
Series: Red Stone Security, 8
Genre: Romantic Suspense

He'll do anything to protect her....

Former Marine and newest Red Stone Security employee Alexander Blue is still adjusting to the civilian world after a decade spent at war, but when he sees someone in danger, nothing can take away that intrinsic need to protect. After stopping a would-be mugger, Blue finds himself being bandaged up by a sensual local artist in her Key West condo. He never expected to stay the night, even if it is on her couch. The mysterious Mina gets under his skin in a way he never thought possible. When it becomes clear that her mugging wasn’t random and she’s being targeted by deadly men, Blue has no problem stepping into the role of protector.

But she doesn't want to be saved

Tired of being coddled and treated like a child, Mina has tried to distance herself from her family. When danger finds her, she’s forced to turn to the sexy stranger who she feels a strong, unexpected connection with. In him she sees glimmers of herself; a little broken, withdrawn and wary of the world. Soon she learns that the biggest threat might not be from the men trying to kidnap her, but from the quiet warrior who poses an immediate risk to her heart.

Kame's Thoughts:

Alexander Blue is in Key West just wrapping up an assignment when he notices an attempted abduction. He helps the woman get free of her assailants but can’t understand when she refuses to call the police. Mina has always been careful. She came to Key West in the hopes of living a more peaceful life, but the attempted abduction just proves that those who want her father’s money have found her.

Mina, I just loved her spunk. I also loved how she just was the right kind of woman for Alex. Alex is just the perfect romance hero. He is a hunk, a former professional athlete, a marine, and he is caring, somewhat sensitive, and thoughtful. They have sparks flying off the page in almost the first paragraph after they meet.

I didn’t really want this book to end. It is the last in a series and I haven’t read the others but I was not lost at all; and actually it inspired me to look at the other books and start the series from the beginning.

5 STARS!

Kame received an e-ARC of this book from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for her honest opinion.

Meet Kame:

Kame is part of a family of readers; one day she picked up the Nook she purchased for her husband and discovered her love of e-books. A few months later he purchased one for her so he could have his back! Kame’s Nook is never far, and she is hard pressed to pick a favorite book, genre or author. As long as there are characters that make her want to sit down and have a chat and a plot keeps the pages turning, she’ll read it.
